Really relaxing stay in Gargrave
Pros:

One of the most comfortable places I've stayed in. The little details were paid attention to which a lot of places miss. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was really nice. This place feels like a bit of a hidden gem.
I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Cons:

Not a complaint. But there was no music in the pub downstairs. It could have done with some low background music when having a drink playing some board games.

Fabulous!!
Pros:

There are fabulous reviews on this place, and it certainly didn't dissapoint! We booked an overnight stay last minute because of the great location for numerous walks through the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside and along the canal. The welcome we received from both the pub team and the locals was warm and friendly, the room was tastefully decorated and included creature comforts such as a hairdryer, iron and board, Nespresso with pods as well as a kettle, and a super comfy bed. The ensuite had a rainfall and directional shower, and it was altogether clean and well maintained. Worth noting that only 1 of the rooms has a bath as opposed to a shower so worth requesting it if that's your preference. The pub has a wide variety of lagers and ales and offers a good menu of homecooked dishes and fresh pizzas, we were spoilt for choice and found it very reasonably priced considering the great quality. The 2 young girls waiting on were chatty and accomodating, an absolute credit to the pub. All stays include a full english breakfast cooked to order and I would find it hard to believe even the fussiest of eaters couldn't be catered for. There was 1 room off the bar dogs weren't allowed in but 3 others to use where they are welcomed. There are board games to use, an overall lovely place to relax after a long walk. The manager is worth a special mention, he was chatty and engaging, very friendly and couldnt do enough for ys to ensure a pleasant stay, and the overall experience made us want to return in the very near future!

I didn't like that we didn't request a room with a bath, because I ached after the big walk we did 😂

A pleasant stay in Gargrave.
Pros:

A nice room with a good shower, a great selection of beers, wines and lagers. The breakfast was good, the staff friendly and the location is very handy for the village, the canal and walks along the pennine way.
