Comfy stay, friendly staff, full breakfast included
Pros:

Friendly staff - Ian the Manager was very welcoming and showed us to our room. It was a very comfortable room, comfy bed, good shower in the bathroom, coffee/tea making facilities, quiet despite being above the pub, great location, our tasty breakfast was included in the price.

Cons:

We didn't arrive til just gone 8pm and unfortunately the kitchen had closed by then.
Also, randomly, the TV didn't have the usual channels that you would expect like BBC etc. Seemed all the channels were streamed?

Location, accommodation, food and service all exceeded expectations.

Breakfast was very good and the location was ideal for spending time in Skipton yet was lovely and quiet just a few minutes away.

Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at this Pub/Hotel. The room was spacious and well decorated with everything you needed.
Everything was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the complimentary coffee/tea and biscuits.
The breakfast was superb and plentiful.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Cons:

The only minor fault we could find is we would have preferred a Cafetiere or pot of coffee at breakfast.

Cosy, welcoming, very relaxing & good food
Pros:

The pub is a perfect place to stay for a nice day walk to Malham Cove. The room is larger than expected with more appliances than we personally needed but we did put the fan to use on the evening as the room did get a bit stuffy.

Breakfast was apart of the booking and when we went down on the morning we saw another couple tucking into a full English that looked way too good to be apart of the room deal but luckily for us it was. They also have cereal & juice already put out for you to help yourself.

The staff couldn't do enough for us, really relaxed pace to the pub and staff which puts you at ease making the stay more enjoyable. The pub is split up into different rooms which I liked (dining area, bar area, quiet area for board games & and another quiet area with a TV to watch the sport.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be for some music to be played on a morning for breakfast as it's very quiet in the dining area and any conversation had by any group at a table echo's around the room and you hear everything so people start whispering which you can still hear and eventually everyone goes silent creating a bit of an awkward atmosphere or that's at least how we felt so some music to just to play in the background could help with this.
