I booked my hotel well in advance, expecting everything to be taken care of when I arrived. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When I got there, I was told they were short-staffed on housekeeping and did not have any clean rooms available. Instead of providing a solution at the original location, they sent us to another hotel about 20 minutes away, assuring us that they had rooms available. After making the drive, we arrived only to find out that they were also fully booked.
At this point, we were left without a room despite having made a reservation in advance. I tried calling the original hotel back for assistance, but I could not get through to anyone. The entire experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and unacceptable. I understand that staffing issues can happen, but guests who book in advance should not have to deal with this level of disorganization or be sent on a 20-minute drive to a hotel that cannot accommodate them either. The lack of communication and customer service made an already stressful situation even worse. I would strongly encourage management to improve their room availability procedures and communication with guests.

Our room had an odor but couldn't switch since they did not have clean rooms due to lack of staff to clean. Which also meant that towels and trash were not refreshed. Hard to get towels even delivered to the room as they ran out. Lack of organization and communication. Breakfast was subpar and not worth a $14.99 price tag.

The property was easy to access and parking was good.
Check in time was at 3pm and upon arriving at 5:15pm the room was not available. We left for dinner and returned at 8:00pm to find that our room was still not available. We accepted a different room type and were sent to a room that had not been cleaned yet.. Upon checking with the front desk we were provided a new room that was clean and checked in around 8:30pm.
Our stay was just a quick over night stay, as our son was leaving for boot camp the next morning. Everything for our stay went smoothly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the breakfast the next morning was one of the better hotel breakfast that we have had.

I think it was awful that I had to PAY for breakfast, when if I had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express I would have gotten the same breakfast included!! Had I known I would have went to a restaurant and ate a much better breakfast for less than I paid you!!!
Nice quiet location but easy access to I-75 and the Troy shopping areas. Rooms are generous size with plenty of storage, and a very functional,bathroom
The bathroom door has a closer on it that is real strong, so if you want to keep it open you have to use the trash can to prop it.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience the breakfast because the purpose of our trip was for my husband to have surgery in a nearby surgery center and we needed to be there at 5:30am! We did have dinner at the lounge and it was good and the bartender was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We paid extra for breakfast because we were told ahead of time we could eat with our sons who were leaving early for military come morning we were NOT allowed to eat with them and when it was actually time for breakfast it wasn't ready and we had to wait extra 30 min past posted time to eat. It was not what was written on menu boards.
We were told we could swim past 10pm because our boys had to be in rooms at 10 but different staff were rude and told our family we weren't supposed to be in there. When we requested extra towels to swim we were given hand towels after having to ask several times and waiting hours. The toilet seat in our room was broken and not attached to toilet. Staff were rude and missing all the time. Couldn't find anyone at desk most of the time and they would come from room around corner after waiting long periods of time for someone. Trying to bring up concerns with staff we would get attitude or different answers from different staff. While waiting the extra 30 min past posted breakfast time for food to come out the kitchen staff stood in doorway pointing at us and rolling thier eyes clearly annoyed that we were waiting for food even though it was late and we had places to be. Overall staff were inattentive and unhelpful and some were just plain rude!! My card was charged extra at check in which no amount was even told to me when I checked in just ran the card for extra amount without any explanation.
Location
The hotel staff were rude, unfriendly, and unapproachable throughout my stay. They also told me they had not received my payment even though the money had already been processed through Booking.com, which made me feel that they were dishonest and untrustworthy.

Pool area was to hot very steamy and moist smelling like mildew …. Breeding grounds for germs bacteria… didn’t Ike that continental breakfast was $10-$14 when is free everywhere else … also they charge $5 for toiletries and amenities that should be complimentary.
