The Park Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Arrived to be faced with check in on a computer. Since the stay was booked through hotels.com for some reason all the addresses and contacts information was for hotels.Com. When I tried to update my contact info the system through me out. Twice. Luckily one of the barmaids helped me out and gave me a room key. The room was a newly refurbished one on the ground floor. Unfortunately the room had emergency lighting that had a bright LED shining all night and was not conducive to sleep. After a sleepless night we complained to the front desk which was now manned and got moved to an older room. No emergency lights and a good nights sleep was achieved. The staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good but we did not eat in the evening.

i booked a room for 3 adults and in our arrival we were given a room with one double bed, thankfully we checked before going to our event we’re booked to go to.the staff were helpful but it’s not really exceptable thst i had to bring that to there attention. it also ment that i was running late to where i needed to be. thankfully they found a small room for our 3rd adult but it wasn’t near our room

It was a pleasant stay, room was comfortable, breakfast was good, staff were helpful and friendly

The room was absolutely fine, up-to-date and comfortably equipped. During a heatwave, it was a real pleasure to be able to get the room to a comfortable temperature.
BUT the tv wouldn't work, at all. A trendy, new "smart" set which said simply, for 3 days, "No signal". Unacceptable.
Food: pleasant enough but unexceptional. The big problem in the restaurant/bar was that there simply weren't enough staff. Those we encountered we all lovely, helpful and efficient, but they were being asked to do far too much and the results were delays, long waits etc. Not so good.

Hotel nice , however , should wish to contact them prior to staying , tou got no chance ....
They dont answer emails and the phone number advertised is no longer in service

Hotel did not have proper restaurant and the meals nothing like advertised on web site the outside beer garden needs a new fence and weeding did not enjoy our stay there

The outside was a bit scruffy but the room was ideal.

The room we stayed in was in a poor condition and the bathroom in particular looks like it hasn’t been decorated for years. It certain didn’t feel like a 4 star experience.

Not bad. a little dated and in need of a coat of paint in places but fine for a short stay. The breakfast was good.

Much better than I was expecting. The room I was in was modern, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. The room was also well supplied with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Only downsides were 1) there is a ridiculously bright green emergency exit light in the room (for which they furnish eye masks) and 2) the walls are pretty thin and I was serenaded by snoring in the next room (for which they furnish ear plugs). The latter two issues do not make for the restful night's sleep one wants in a hotel so would love to rate the establishment more highly but these detract from the experience.

Friendly staff, nice hotel. Comfy bed nice room good facilities.

Close to where I was working not used this hotel before ok for my needs good bar & restaurant

Functional convenient for our needs. A little tired in places and needing the autumn leaves clearing . Otherwise very good with a good breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location for Diss and it's restaurants and shops.
It's seen better days and could use a lick of paint here and there but it's comfortable and good value.

All good friendly service excellent breakfast

Everything was to our liking and the front-desk lady, Angela, was very helpful and pleasant.
