Had a lovely dinner - was served by Jason who was attentive, patient and came to ask at several points if there was anything extra we needed. Showed pure professionalism and gave us lovely seats to a beautiful view of the city.

We stayed at the Paramount Hotel Midtown Dubai to celebrate Christmas, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Christmas Eve dinner at the Malibu Restaurant on the 64th floor was a real highlight. The setting alone is impressive, with stunning views, but the service made it exceptional. Jason looked after us throughout the evening and delivered truly outstanding service—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made the evening feel special.

Our stay was made even better by a complimentary suite upgrade with a Burj Khalifa view, which added a real “wow” factor and elevated the whole experience. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented.

Overall, it was a fantastic Christmas stay, combining great hospitality, excellent dining, and memorable views. We would happily return and highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in Dubai.

He excels at crafting highly creative, personalized cocktails tailored precisely to my requests. His mixology skills are matched only by his outstanding customer service: attentive, friendly, engaging, and genuinely warm, ensuring every guest feels special. The best experience for the Christmas Eve! The food is sumptuous and breath-taking views. Jayson did a great job in serving with warmth and hospitality.

Lovely experience at Malibu Lounge in Paramount Hotel. Great ambiance and excellent service from Jayson, who was attentive and welcoming throughout. Special mention to the Laksa Prawn and Lamb Chop, both were absolutely delicious. A spot I would happily come back to.

Location is fantastic as it is really close from the centre. It's like a 20 minutes walk to Burj Khalifa and Dubai's Mall.

The hotel rooms are amazingly clean, cozy and they offer, a bottle of water, tea, coffee capsules, bath robes and slippers. We were on the side where the Sheikh Zayed Rd is, going towards the Palm and it was noisy during the whole day. Also we could not change the temp of the aircon and our room was really freezing cold. The personnel did try and next day was slightly better. The personnel is really polite and are eager to help you out. Really amazed by their professionalism.

Breakfast was immaculate. All very fresh and honestly a big variety. As we entered the breakfast area we were seated, asked the coffee we like and we were served. Huge variety with local delicacies and European breakfast choices.

We also had dinner at the Paparazzi Restaurant. The food was excellent and the personnel fantastic. Italian flavors well executed.

There is always taxis waiting in the entrance and if all are occupied, the personnel in the entrance, are really eager to help you out and using an app they can call a taxi for you.

My score if I had to add one, would surely be 95%.

Jones, Vijay, Rama, Eve, and Sisil are the people who truly made our stay unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, Jones welcomed us with warmth and genuine care. Vijay impressed us daily with exceptional service, attention to detail, and an incredible memory — always remembering our room and checking in on us.
The hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and decorated for Christmas with a magical chocolate kingdom in the lobby — made of real cookies and chocolate.
Our room was perfect: calm colors, fully equipped, excellent blackout, a great shower, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in.
The rooftop pool and bar on the 64th floor are breathtaking, day and night — amazing views, great food, and great drinks.
Breakfast was excellent, led by Rama, who manages the restaurant with heart, professionalism, and genuine care for both guests and staff.
The café became our daily stop thanks to Eve — wonderful coffee and warm, personal service every single day.
Housekeeping, especially Sisil, was outstanding — anything we needed, anytime, always with a smile.
A hotel with soul, people who truly care, and an experience we didn’t want to end. Highly recommended.

Went to resto to have breakfast, staff are very friendly and helpful ( Marely ) forgot the other staffs name. Food is delicious and clean.

Had an coctail master class experience here. Absolutely loved this place! The Melrose bar has an amazing atmosphere — stylish, vibrant, and incredibly welcoming. The cocktail masterclass was a real highlight: fun, interactive, and perfectly organized. The bartender was knowledgeable, passionate, and made everything easy to understand while keeping the energy high. We learned so much, laughed a lot, and enjoyed some truly delicious cocktails. An unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great night out and something a bit special! 🍸✨

The location of Paramount Hotel Midtown is very good, but unfortunately the positives end there. This hotel has some serious issues that make it feel far from a 5-star property.

The staff behavior is shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. One morning I wanted to take a coffee from breakfast up to my room — something that has never been a problem in any high-end hotel I’ve stayed at. Instead, a staff member ran after me, took the coffee out of my hands, and told me I wasn’t allowed to take the cup to the room. When I asked for a takeaway option, they said it wasn’t possible and that they “don’t have it,” and that coffee can only be consumed during breakfast.
A few days later, something even more bizarre happened: a girl who wasn’t feeling well tried to take two slices of bread (wrapped politely in a napkin) back to her room. Staff confronted her, took the bread out of her hands, and threw it in the trash in front of everyone. This was not only extremely disrespectful to her but also a shocking waste of food. I have never seen behavior like this in any hotel claiming to be 5 stars.

Other issues:
• The sauna was out of service for the entire week, with no sign of repair.
• The hotel layout is strange — to get to the pool, you actually need to switch elevators in the lobby on the 14th floor, which is unnecessarily inconvenient.

Overall, the way this hotel operates feels closer to a 2–3 star property, not a luxury one. With the rude staff, non-functioning facilities, and bizarre rules, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
