Disappointing room/facilities. Lovely staff who were apologetic but couldn't offer a solution/rationale behi
Pros:

Location, staff and breakfast

Cons:

Price of the room was more than others who had renovated/modern rooms. Our room was dated, musty and old fashioned. We understand that the venue is undergoing renovation but pricing should reflect that. We were part of a group of people where some had paid much less to stay in a modern/upgraded suite. This was really disappointing.

Great short stay
Pros:

We had one of the refurbished rooms, it was a great size and lovely and clean, fresh white fluffy towels everyday, breakfast was very good and plentiful , staff were very good, receptionist very helpful when to did not work. Location was great right on the seafront , short walk to Spanish city and about 10 mins to town centre .

Cons:

It is currently being refurbished so there was a lot of work going on in reception , it did not affect our stay.

Excellent location; comfortable room; tasty breakfast.
Pros:

It was good that we had been made aware from the outset - with an email reminder sent close to the time of our stay - that the property is in the process of being renovated, as this could not be missed from the moment we arrived. However, the staff seemed to work well around the ongoing works, which included the relocation of the reception desk during the course of our 3 nights stay. Some dustiness in the public areas, e.g. reception, stairways and corridors, was evidence of the ongoing works although our room was clean and comfortable.
Tasty and plentiful cooked English breakfast.
Our room was at the front of the hotel, providing a lovely view over the seafront and the sea itself.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

Our bathroom sink lacked a plug and unfortunately one did not appear despite mentioning this to the receptionist - who visited the room to check - on the first morning. However, we were advised that as part of the renovation the bathroom was due to be ripped out and replaced so perhaps the provision of a plug was not deemed a high priority.

Pros:

Lovely hotel in an amazing location just across the road from the beach!
Amazing breakfast included.
Staff always pleasant and willing to help. I've stayed here many times over the years and it has become a home from home.

Only problem this time, it was a bit noisy during the day due to the refurbishment going on, but even that was kept to a minimum.

Looking forward to my next visit when hopefully refurbishment is completed and café opened on site.

Cons:

Having to climb the stairs to the room. But staff always there to assist and apparently lift being fitted as part of the refurbishment 🙂

Shame about the bed
Pros:

Receptionist friendly, room clean and everything that you could need ,breakfast delicious

Cons:

The bed was hard may as well tried sleeping on the floor only to be told at reception "yeah the beds are hard, getting new ones"...If that was the case of knowing why put someone in there...Fortunately I paid in advance otherwise I would of paid half the price because I only got breakfast the bed wasn't worth paying for
