Hochwertiges Zimmer und geräumiges Bad. Alles in bestem Zustand. Super Frühstück und perfekte Lage. Sehr ruhig. Personal sehr freundlich.

Mein Zimmer war sehr schön. Im ersten Stock nach hinten heraus. Konnte in der Nacht leider das Fenster geöffnet haben. Unter meinem Fenster war der Pausenplatz des Personal und auch das Parking der E-Autos. Daher nicht so ruhig. Aber sonst i.o.

Pros:

My family and I stayed in (2) rooms for (2) nights. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and very close to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals, breads and fruits. We were exhausted at night after dinner and the TV channel selection was excellent.

Cons:

The rooms were very hot at night and difficult to sleep. A fan would have been nice to have.

Fabulous
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I loved the view and the morning that all the sheep went by while sipping coffee on the room patio.

If you're visiting during the summer months, plan ahead and ask for a fan for your room.
Pros:

We stayed there during the summer, so you will need to open the windows and may hear street noises and they have limited fans available. I asked 2x and they had run out. We booked this thinking there was going to be AC, but there wasn't and that was MY mistake. The challenge of the summer is that the rooms get warm during the day and sometimes they don't cool down enough overnight. We stayed there 2 nights and the first night it was still warm in the room, our window was open and the staff from the hotel next door hung out very loudly until 1 AM waking us up. The next night it was fine and cooler, so we slept well. I imagine during the spring, summer and winter, this place is just perfect. The breakfast buffet was great and you could see the Matterhorn from the corner of the dining room. I would stay here again and would recommend it with those caveats about the summer. Summer in Europe is hard since it's not uncommon for places to have no AC and it's been very warm this year. Americans are used to AC, so there's that conflict already in place. Zermatt is beautiful and I would go there again in a heartbeat.
