Exceptional location ,clean and extremely friendly staff
Pros:

Even before we arrived in Kyoto I had been in communication with this amazing property just asking about things that we wanted to see and do while staying in Kyoto . I always received a prompt answer with great suggestions and advice. Once we arrived we were greeted by an extremely friendly person at the front desk who explained where all the facilities and amenities were if we needed anything like the washing machine etc. Our room was perfect,nice size for the two of us ,bathroom was exceptionally clean as was our room. There was a bath if you wanted to have a soak after big days of walking in and seeing Kyoto. The staff were very helpful with sending our luggage onto our next hotel in Osaka .I would highly recommend staying here as I said clean comfortable convenient amazingly helpful friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again

Cons:

The only comment I’d make was I feel the pillows were a little uncomfortable. They’re a bit flat so maybe some bigger fluffy pillows but that would be just a suggestion. I have seen pillows at other places we’ve stayed in Japan and they are similar so maybe that’s a Japanese thing.

洗面所が使いづらいが宿泊場所が目的と合っていた。

立地、部屋数が少なく建屋内も静か、部屋も広く畳の小上がりがとても居心地が良い

Friendly, well appointed, good location
Pros:

We went to nearby Paul's for breakfast. No food at the hotel. Coffee machine downstairs. Great bathroom.

Cons:

Being older, the Japanese-style floor seating did not work for us. Thus we used the beds.

Great location and spacious rooms, but poor pillows and laundry.
Pros:

The hotel location was excellent—very close to the city centre and many of the places we wanted to visit. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was very spacious, with a large sitting area that we really enjoyed. The bathroom and shower were also great. Overall, it’s definitely a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

Cons:

There were just a couple of things that bothered me. The pillows were very uncomfortable, extremely flat and not supportive at all.
The laundry facilities, although was paid one (and priced similarly to city laundromats), were of poor quality. The washing machine didn’t clean the clothes properly, and stains remained, possibly due to low-quality detergent. The dryer was also ineffective, even after two cycles, the clothes were still damp. We ended up doing our laundry at an external laundromat, which was much faster and more effective. For a hotel of this standard, better facilities would be expected.
There was no microwave in the room, which was a bit unusual, although there was a shared one in the lobby. Also, there were no plates or cutlery provided in the room, which would have been useful even for small snacks.

Personel hotelu zaoferował bezpłatnie podwyższenie standardu pokoju na apartament chyba królewski… było wszystko, a nawet więcej niż można wyobrazić. Kawa i herbata non stop w hallu, codziennie nowe ręczniki, super wygodna łazienka, miękka pościel, garderoba, lodówka kuchnia i mikrofala dużo wariantów oświetlenia romantycznego

Parfait pour n’y passer que la nuit.
Pros:

Emplacement idéal.
Confort des lits et de la chambre.
Machine à laver au rez de chaussée.

Cons:

Hôtel uniquement donc pas de petit déjeuner (mais boulangerie à proximité).
Chambres peu lumineuses (important pour ceux qui souhaitent passer la journée dans leur chambre)

ゆったりくつろげました！
Pros:

ホテルなのに広い畳スペース（6畳くらい？）があり足を伸ばして寛げるので、疲れが取れました。
1階にあるセルフサービスのコーヒーも美味しかったです。
何よりスタッフの方が皆さん感じが良かったです♪

Cons:

良くないというわけではないですが、お風呂場に洗面器があるともっと良いなと思いました

京都を満喫するには最高でした。
Pros:

立地がとても良かった。
お部屋は小上がりがあってゆっくりできました。
バストイレがセパレートなのも良かったです。
スタッフさんもとても優しくて良かったです。

Perfect location for two travelers!!
Pros:

This is a VERY good LOCATION for exploring surroundings, very safe neighborhood, very friendly but unobtrusive staff. It was small but cozy (the key was an actual key, not a card!)

Cons:

We should have stayed here for longer! There is nothing I would change. Very nice!
