Really nice property. Host checked us in. Really nice room with beautiful views. Recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Advised it would be necessary to book as still quite busy. Would thoroughly recommend staying at the gate.

Excellent stay

Stunning room with a stunning view. We stayed two nights in the upper deck and it was just fab. No restaurant as such so you’ll have to travel but we found a couple of fantastic places.
If you don’t mind going out for dinner, this could be the perfect place

We stayed in The Loft studio for two nights & it is a beautiful room with everything you need for a short stay - including a bathtub on the balcony overlooking the gorgeous rolling green hills of Devon. The bed is really comfy & the shower room lovely & spacious. The kitchenette was really useful & we made our breakfast & evening snacks there. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a really lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The room and living spaces were gorgeous and super comfy, and the gardens were just so pretty and peaceful.

A big thank you to Rich and Jonny, whose hospitality was kind, warm, and genuine—it made us feel completely at home and relaxed from the moment we arrived.

We hope to return next time we’re in Cornwall and will definitely be recommending it to everyone we know!

It was a kind of last minute booking so we were very lucky to strike gold with this place.
Pictures looked great, but I think the reality was even better. Everything has been finished to a very high quality. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the binds work as they should. One of the nicest showers in a hotel I have ever had. The bath on the balcony was what sold it for my wife who enjoyed two alfresco baths and loved them both.
TV worked perfectly and was a nice new large one, extra bonus someone forgot to sign out of Netflix and Amazon so that was nice. Little self contained kitchen has everything you needed and only 5 minutes in the car from Looe so no problems shopping. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
The owner was totally on the ball, very welcoming and helped us out with everything we needed.
A perfect relaxed weekend in a lovely part of the country.
Definitely stay there again.

We’ve stayed here twice now and the owners have done a beautiful job of decorating the building and are such lovely hosts.

My husband & I had a lovely stay at this cosy boutique hotel tucked away in the countryside. We had the Lower Deck wich was perfect for us. We were able to park our car outside our room! We had a lovely patio area with amazing views of the countryside. The studio apartment was decorated beautifully and was very comfortable. Alot of attention to detail and the bathroom had very fancy toiletries, even down to room spray!

We had a lovely dinner at the Charlie Walters restaurant in the hotel! The food was amazing, the service was excellent & the desserts were incredible 😍

If you're looking for a relaxing stay in a boutique hotel I would highly recommend staying here. You will need a car tho to get around!

Small boutique hotel with excellent rooms and a great dinner menu. Staff brilliant. Not walkable to Looe and taxis back are a nightmare if you have washed your meal down with a tipple. No hot breakfast and the conti we had cost £12 pp with no meat/cheese/eggs/toast/cereal for it. Bread and pastries were excellent btw

Loved the outdoor bath!!

Met personally by the owners for check in. Very personable and knowledgeable giving great advice and suggestions for our family. Even made a delicious craft cocktail and did a load of laundry for us. Couldn’t have been more impressed.
Room clean and tastefully decorated. Beautiful property. Thanks so much. Will recommend to friends and will come back.

Jonny and Rich are fantastic hosts in this lovely property in a beautiful setting. The bar and lounge area is very relaxing and the rooms are very luxurious for an ideal home from home stay

It was so beautiful, peaceful, charming, and relaxing. Owners where lovely and the all loved our dogs! Will 100% be returning. The decor and location were 10/10. Highly recommend the baths on the balcony.

Stayed for a chill out weekend. It was so peaceful and the views from the Upper Deck Studio are stunning.
The Studio was spotlessly clean and nice and warm when we arrived. Bed was amazing with luxury bedding.
Kitchenette was perfect, adequate for a short stay. Only one minor niggle was the freezer compartment in our fridge had clearly not been defrosted for some time as it was full of solid ice so we couldn't use it. But overall we loved it and will definitely return.

Excellent stay and throughly enjoyed. The decor of the rooms and the main house / bar is incredibly cosy, crisp and clean. We had the loft suite which had an outdoor bath tub with beautiful views for miles around. The kitchenette had everything we could need and more. The bar had a great selection of drinks and a huge log burner which added to the comfort. Would definitely recommend and will return.
