Beautiful room with an enormous comfy bed and a good shower! I loved the shell tap.
Don't be surprised by a few unwanted visitors, it's a wooden cabin and we ended up having a few bugs and even a scorpion in the bathroom (which I thought was pretty cool to be honest)
At night there was lots of raccoons. (Not near the cabin tho)
I think the place was under renovation so we didn't get to try the pool unfortunately.
We felt like they didn't clean the floor before we arrived because it was very dusty.
The hotel was not well maintained when we were there.
The bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet at night.
The staff is non existant, the pool hasn't been cleaned for a while (the water was green, we could not enjoy it at all) and the way to get there is a mess when there was rain in the few days before. If you have a suitcase, a taxi is a must. However, there was no staff to help for the taxi to leave the hotel, so we had to walk in the mud with the suitcase to get back to the ferry.
The place is beautiful and very typical, we feels the Holbox vibes in here. The guy at the reception is very welcoming and nice. The place is quiet, this is a peaceful place.
The air conditioning is either at its full efficiency or very low, which is very noisy and impossible to use during the night. Also the curtain lets the light coming from the garden which make the room very lit, a mask is necessary. It needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The bathroom smells a bit the pee, I don’t know why but it’s a bit embarrassing…
Friendly staff
A bit far from the center
Jonathan on reception was really friendly, the room was quite comfortable.
The hotel could do with a bit of TLC - the stairs looked to be rotting a bit, and the cold water tap in the shower made some really loud noises throughout a shower! The location is very difficult to get to, especially if there has been rain.
The price is reasonable, wifi worked, Netflix was nice. A raccoon family lives there, don't be afraid of them. People feed them so they are comfortable around people (they don't have rabies!). If you leave food in your garbage can outside your door, they will probably visit and who can blame them.
Be prepared to be scammed by invented "tourists taxes." If you talk to other tourists and locals, you will find out there is no such thing, certainly not to the extent that is charged. Bring an extra 500-1000 pesos in cash and see if you can get a receipt.

It’s a very beautiful little oasis in a quiet area. Very clean and cute cottage like feel. Friendly stuff!! We even had Netflix available :)
We wished there was a small fridge in the room and some hooks and shelves in the bathroom to hang the towels and put cosmetics down for the convenience. Other than that, very clean and perfect.
Rooms, bed were good
Noise from the house near to hotel. Very loud music at night.
Clean room with AC
Expensive for what you get, looks less luxurious than pictures suggest. Water machine was finished during our stay. Shower was cold… We paid the stay beforehand including taxes and fees and were still asked to pay more when we arrived for something I still don’t understand (we refused this).
The worst part was location, it’s almost impossible to reach the hotel after rainfall, the whole neighborhood is one big mudpool so it takes very long to climb over everything along the roads that people use to surpass the mud. Everything together this doesn’t give the holiday feeling you are looking for on Holbox.
The staff was friendly and the room was well equipped and spacious.
The hotel is quite far from the center. Unfortunately we arrived after heavy rain therefore the whole town was filled with big ponds everywhere. The first day was ok but the next day the whole front and entrance of the hotel was submerged in brown smelly water. And when we left in the morning the staff was not present so we couldn’t order a taxi we therefore had to walk in this yukky water.
