InTown Suites Extended Stay Virginia Beach VA

When reserving the room, we asked about checking in early (1:30 instead of 3:00), and I was told it wouldn't be a problem. We arrived at noon and went in to see if we could check in but not get the room yet. Was told we needed to come back at 1:30 and then it wouldn't be a problem and we could check the room to see if we really wanted it. Came back at 1:30, different person at counter. Was adamant that they had nothing for us until 3:00 and did not have any double rooms that are handicap accessible. (One person has a broken neck, walks with a cane, and is 83. The other person has had open heart surgery twice and will need heart surgery when returns to home state. ) Did not get to see the room before running cc (3rd person at counter now)
ROOM: The microwave handle is broken.
The "dresser" is to have two drawers. We have one and does not open to where we can use it.
The seal on the refrigerator door is coming off. They said they would glue or double tape it by the end of the week. It never happened.
The stove has a two burner stove top but doesn't have any type of cooking utensils, pans, dishes, etc. Doesn't have dish soap, dish towels, or pot holders. So the room is really useless if you want to cook in it.
They said you can purchase kitchen items, coffee makers, and cleaning items if you need them from the front desk. This is above the cost of the expensive room.
Baby cockroaches have also been seen in the room.

When you register as a married couple and your spouse doesn’t “add” your name they give you a really hard time about a key when you’re locked out. I understand it, but maybe they should ask at check in other names to be listed in the account for key purposes etc. when you book on line it’s one name

I did not like the bugs

Towels were caked in dirt

Wasn't clean, water damage in the room, roaches, refrigerator wasn't cold. Office hours were abysmal. 11am-7pm is unacceptable.

Still need improvement on the cleanliness and office time is not adequate for some minor complaints.

Pricing , drug attic’s walking around property arguing and fussing not bathroom light for two weeks

Non smoking room but was filled with smoke every night due to the chain smoker next door. No person on site after hours, closed the office at 1 pm!! I was locked out for five hours, called the after hours number at least 30 times before someone finally picked up and met me to open the room. Exhausting after a full day of work!

Well I hate hotels that has no inside security

The office was closed for the day because of a "scheduling emergency" so I could never check in. Nobody answered the phone or returned calls. Canceled through booking and left a comment stating why. Was still charged $85

No pool, no lobby with breakfast, poor vending, poor room service. We had to clean our own rooms, we don't get towels, toilet paper and no necessities
