Choice of buffet was good, choice of cooked food was first class and freshly cooked (not left about on hot / warm serveries) and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Could not operate the shower! Very hot water and I could not find how to get a mix with cold water. No instructions available.
Situation is magnificent. Our suite was more spacious than we could have expected. Staff are all helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean.
Tiny niggles. Would like bottled water etc in the room's fridge - happy to pay. Hospitality tray needs reviewed - not possible to have a coffee in the room at bedtime and one early morning. A box of paper tissues would be welcome. A rug in either bedroom or sitting room would be good Just a few little welcoming touches. Spa and pool are advertised. There was no sign of either, or even a notice. Are they off-site? I travel quite a lot and am slightly picky, I know.
Fantastic location for exploring the local area and Northumberland as a whole.
The hotel was extremely welcoming and comfortable and the wonderful staff made the stay relaxing.
Easy access to Bamburgh castle, Lindisfarne and a secret beach which hardly anyone goes to (Ask Lynn).
Visit Bamburgh itself and Grace Darlings museum, grave and her birth and burial places.
All round the Beach House hotel is the perfect spot to explore Northumberlands wonderful heritage.
And if you're a dog lover, your little growlers are welcome.
Needs more choice for the evening menu, but we're just being picky.
Very tranquil. Very neat and clean. Very friendly staff. Amazing location and views.
The coffee provided in the room wasn't the greatest.. that's me being picky.
This booking was a gift for my mother’s birthday. My parents thoroughly loved their stay and would love to come back again.

The hotel was extremely friendly and staff were excellent! They accommodated me and my dog brilliantly, they made our stay really enjoyable. The food at evening meal was very good and the breakfast excellent with loads of choice. The hotel is literally 50 yards from the sea! Only a short walk in to Seahouses town centre. Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thanks!
The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the room (14) was directly above the kitchen and the room was really warm even though the heating/radiators were turned off. It made it too warm to sleep! I passed this on to the lady at reception when checking out and they agreed that the room is above the kitchen which makes it warm. I would definitely not choose to stay in this room next time! Other than that a fantastic stay.
Easy going staff and friendly.
All good.
My room was super comfy and clean and the staff were lovely as always. Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options and a great view!
Couldn't really be helped but the bar area was having some work carried out so half of the area was taped off.
The location was stunning. Ample car parking. Gorgeous breakfasts and good day/evening menu. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a room issue and they sorted it quickly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The price is very reasonable for whats included. Also very dog friendly.
Although the floors are hard floors as its dog friendly, they get very gritty with sand/mud even after rinsing off outside. If a dustpan or small vac was in the room this would be great. I could have asked but kept forgetting! Tall bar stools would be good for the sea view rooms.
We should have come in Feb but had to reschedule due to a family bereavement, the beachouse were very understanding and made every effort to help us find an alternative date. We ended up having to book a bigger family room due to availability, but we were ok with this and it turned out to be a bonus as we ended up with a room with a lovely view.
On arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the room was immaculate and well presented, and the location is perfect for walking into Seahouses which is literally a 5 minutes gentle stroll away.
Access to the beautiful beach is just across the road, and the hotel is in a great location for venturing out to other places for the day if going by car. Packed lunches were available if you wanted them for your days out and there was a great selection of tourist information leaflets in reception.
The breakfasts are lovely, with a good selection ranging from full English/Northumbrian, to toast or a croissant with butter, jam or honey.
Evening meal menu is reasonable, we ate out a few nights, but enjoyed the hotels steak night, which was good value and very tasty, but you are advised to book early for this as it can be quite busy.
All in all, we had a very comfortable, and very enjoyable 4 night stay at the Beach House Hotel, we are already planning a return visit for the summer and would highly recommen staying here.
Despite there being onsite parking, these spaces were frequently taken so we had to park on the grassed verge near the entrance. Although this wasn't a problem and we always managed to get a space to park, additional dedicated parking spaces may be something to consider for the future.
Great location and lovely staff
Breakfast was very good, poached eggs were perfect, staff were friendly and professional. Location is very good, view is amazing. For us being able to use Ocean club is a major draw.
Room was a little small. could be laid out better, bathroom was not spotlessly clean.
Very clean, welcoming bar area, lovely breakfast
The room was very hot and we were unable to control the temperature. The radiator was off but heating seemed to be underfloor. The heat led to a disturbed night’s sleep.
