Pros:

We were ever so fortunate to come across this gem - like a diamond, hidden in plane sight.
It is a property that overflows with charm, attention to detail and personal touches. Everything was excellent and we loved every minute of our stay.

Dette var et flott sted. Skikkelig spennende med trappene som vi gikk og lette etter rommet vårt. Det var dører, ganger og trapper. Ikke lett, men så gøy! Så koselige rom og dekor og gullende rent! Det som er negativt var biltrafikken. Vi hadde rom vendt ut mot trafikkert vei. Ellers så kunne parken med de flotte trappene kanskje vært mer vedlikeholdt. Ellers bare helt supert. God mat og god service!

En härlig övernattning på ett fantastiskt slott. Vi fick bra service och åt en härlig middag på hotellet på kvällen. Absolut en prisvärd vistelse som vi varmt kan rekommendera!!

Old castle converted to a small hotel

Very nice old castle, converted into a small Hotel. Excellent restaurant with great service.
The only "negative" point is the elcetric heating of the rooms - this is a waste of energy and the heating system is quite loud when it switches on at night..

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans ce magnifique château. La chambre était spacieuse, élégamment décorée et imprégnée de charme historique tout en offrant le confort moderne. Le lit était incroyablement confortable.
L’atmosphère du lieu invite à la détente, et chaque détail semble avoir été pensé pour offrir une expérience unique. Nous avons également apprécié l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné de l’équipe, qui a su répondre à toutes nos attentes.

Un endroit parfait pour une escapade romantique ou une immersion dans l’histoire et la beauté architecturale. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

O Chateau, oh wow
Pros:

Wow, oh wow. We were pleasantly surprised with the O Chateau, the overall feeling from entering the driveway to the moment we left was near perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke very good English, which was good as we’re still learning basic French! The choice at Dinner was very good and the food cooked to perfection, The breakfast buffet was also excellent in delivery and choice.
The room was a surprise, it was more of a suite than we were expecting and was very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable, and huge.
My only suggestion to make the stay a little better was if the hotel had sold the bears that greeted us when we entered the room.

Das Frühstück sollte man nicht verpassen, sehr lecker und auch günstig. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich wie in einem Schloss. Alle Angestellten waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
