The big glass window with a view of the Space Needle
Valet parking was an absolute nightmare, with no available luggage carts. Chair was not as clean as it could be in the room. Found leftover hair in the bathroom shower area and the shower glass was not clean towards bottom. The bathroom door did not provide privacy when in the shower someone from outside the bathroom can look right in. One of the face towels was stained but not dirty. No microwave to reheat food. The room was pretty small (narrow walkways made it harder to get luggage inside. Elevator confusion due to everyone pressing buttons constantly so it kept opening/closing. The wait to check in was long as if they were not prepared for New Years Eve increase of customers. Plus the thick fog that night ensured we couldn’t even see the Space Needle which made me only feel more disappointed as this was the whole purpose of reserving the room. Not the experience I was expecting at all based on the reviews of this hotel.
The location and the hotel food was good
The rooms weren’t your typical hotel experience, it felt like a motel more than anything but I would say it’s still worth it if f you only plan on staying for the night or two
Room size was small, not a great view for the price, linens were rough and shower door didn’t lock
Very clean and convenient. Staff was nice.
Fabulous views. Cheap clean parking in garage across the street (much cheaper than valet parking)
Sadly there is no room service in Sundays
Everything was superb and I loved the rooftop restaurant food and view!!
The room was a little small but everything else was wonderful
Small room and breakfast not served long enough
Fancy. Clean. Comfortable. Futuristic.
Expensive but incredible view if the space needle
Location
The overall design felt like a recent graduate that used ai for everything. It checks all the comfort boxes but all in a way a human finds uncomfortable. For instance: the elevator design felt like it's motifs were lifed from assassins creed's future dystopian parts that were meant to make you feel uncomfortable. The two sets of buttons in the elevator, one traditional and a touchscreen, you need to fumble around with your room key to get to any floor but now have an extra challenge of finding your floor in two spots with totally different layouts and colors. Not that bad a problem until you realize multiple people pile in with luggage and the time period for you to tap your card and find your floor is limited and tied to your room card.
The lack or human originality continues in the room with what feels like ai Gen images, chat gpt lighting choices and other quirks. The windows were motorized and controlled near the bathroom across the room, the window was at shoulder hight going to the ceiling, opening it reveals a view of a courtyard but where you could only see feet and legs because you were looking up into it as passerbys were looking down into your room. The lighting seems to offend every eye. The lighting was super bright yellow lights, or bright white light in the 5500k area. The corner light... bright, the wall mounted round bed lights, touch activated but you needed to hit the 1.5" center to use the 3 dim options, all super bright. The back splash lights, bright LEDS, in fact, they were all LEDS!
The bathroom: design over function. A futuristic HALO inspired design on the mirror that was a built in light. Why, it's not a smart mirror, just a design that isn't congruent with the rest of the room. There was a window peeping into the restroom from the room. The window, 1' wide by 8' tall with an old school window shade that didn't go all the way down.
The Roof Top
The room was very clean
That they don't offer breakfast
Me and the hubby planned a Valentines weekend to Seattle and loved our stay here! Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Their lounge was great for before (and after) dinner drinks. Close to so much in Seattle - highly recommend!
