We had 3 days with no hot water as the boiler broke down and I have been told and by email that i will be given a refund for those 3 days.
I stayed for 2 days and they could not provide hot water it was freezing cold, and not another room to have a shower in.
Staff were not helpful.
The room was spacious, which I appreciated. I could constantly hear a dripping noise from either the tap or the toilet, which made it difficult to sleep.
I had requested extra firm pillows for my room, but I found the pillows provided to be very light and uncomfortable to sleep on. The bed was not as soft as I had expected,, it felt quite springy and lacked the comfort I was hoping for.
I feel the staff could have done more to make my stay feel welcoming and memorable. On arrival, Dante was polite, professional, and helpful throughout the check-in process. He made a positive first impression and was the only member of staff who truly stood out for his excellent customer service. He deserves recognition for the way he interacted with guests.
My experience with other members of staff did not match the same standard. During breakfast, I presented my breakfast voucher upon arrival, but I did not receive a warm greeting or any effort to make me feel welcomed. While the service was functional, it lacked the friendly and engaging approach that you would expect from a hotel of this standard.
When checking out, I handed my room key cards to the receptionist at the front desk. The interaction felt very transactional, and I was disappointed that I was not asked how my stay had been or whether everything had met my expectations. A simple question such as "How was your stay?" or "Did you enjoy your time with us?" can make a difference and shows genuine interest in guest satisfaction.
I believe there is an opportunity for the hotel to invest in customer service training for some members of staff. Small gestures, friendly conversations, and showing an interest in guests' experiences can enhance the overall impression of a stay.
Having a well maintained free laundry in the basement was a real bonus.
Breakfast was same everyday and not very good. Soap and toilet paper not replaced on time. Otherwise hotel is ok.

Gym was closed for renovations. Breakfast was subpar and definitely not worth whatever they're charging for it (27 pounds per person per day during my stay), switched rooms 3 times because AC wasn't working in the first 2 (thermometer kept throwing up an error message that I had to YouTube to figure out), showers all smelled like piss (all 3 rooms we were in plus the room my sister was in on a different floor) I think due to their plumbing.

Es war trotz 2-maliger Aufforderung innerhalb von 5 Tagen nicht möglich, eine von beiden defekten Nachttischleuchten zu reparieren. In einer der beiden fehlte eine Glühbirne bzw. LED, die andere war einfach defekt.
Die Halterungen der Duschgels müssten mal einer Grundreinigung unterzogen werden

Check in was awful. Having booked a room with a Terrace it wasn’t any longer available and to the extent that they would be able to find one it would be one hour plus that I’d have to wait. I only booked the hotel because of the Terrace and it was disgraceful that they downgraded me. Never again.
I am requesting a refund for my stay due to significant issues with the accommodation.
During my stay, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, making the room uncomfortable. In addition, the sink was clogged and could not drain properly, which affected the usability and cleanliness of the room.
These issues substantially impacted the quality of my stay and the accommodation did not meet the standards advertised at the time of booking. I would appreciate a refund or appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.
