We loved everything, the cleanliness, the proximity to the beach, the fire pits, and of course that it's pet friendly!

Cute gas fire pit, glass enclosed pool next to regular pool. Beaches especially for sunrises very close by. Room 3 was downstairs, and relatively quiet (not too near ice machine).

I really liked the location, the design, and how clean the room was.

Check in process was confusing. We
Received automated messages with check information and then did not receive our key code. I called to receive the code after the said time and was told to call back. We arrived late because of traffic and finally got our code. Checked in and left the premises to meet up with other family staying elsewhere. Received a message an hour later letting us know there was a mistake with which room we were given. I said we already checked in and had our belongings in the room. Then I missed a 1am call from the front desk. Went to the front desk in the morning and they had no idea why someone called me.
I overheard a couple in the parking lot the next morning talking to the manager about why an employee walked in their room at 1:30 am. They were given no explanation.

Our family enjoyed the pools and hot tub but the property needs to do some real updates in the pool area and rooms. Slippery and chipped surfaces on the hot tub floor and pool, broken umbrellas, etc.

The room was fine but no chairs or benches to put luggage on or sit. We could hear everything outside our door and in the next rooms. No hooks for towels or belongings.

For the price, and lack of clear communication with staff for check in, I would not stay here again. Whatever company owns this property needs to step up and put some real TLC to make guests experience better.

We were asked to leave the hotel after complaining to Stewart "the Manager" about safety issues.

On July 16th the room above us had been sliding furniture around, had a dog playing with its nails scratching, and leash dragging on the floors, set off the fire alarm which sounded from 1145 pm to 12;30 am. No management ever showed up to the room, even after the alarm had gone off for close to 45 minutes. The alarm is not hard wired to a central control so no signal went to any other room or to the fire department.
No fire department responded and no management ever showed up at the room that set off the alarm that evening.

Location was great. Room was clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Had fridge and small sink. Shower was good. Pool and outside area was nice place to sit, enjoy breakfast or time swimming.

Check-in was a hassle. The self check-in process seems modern, but I never actually received my code, so I had to go to the front desk anyway. Unfortunately, no one was there to help for about an hour.

The room itself had some issues. It was quite dark, with not much lighting, and there was no surface space to put anything down. The walls are also pretty thin — you can hear people outside and in neighboring rooms, which made it hard to feel settled.

Amenities and staff were limited overall. That’s okay for a no-frills stay, but given the price, it felt like you weren’t getting a whole lot in return.

Bottom line: A fine place to stay, just manage your expectations — it’s a bit pricey for what’s actually offered
