La ubicación en el barrio antiguo y cerca del castillo es perfecta.

Cons:

El acceso a las habitaciones al no contar todos los pisos e ingreso con ascenso es compilicado. Si se tiene movilidad reducida hay que avisar
En determinados horarios faltó agua caliente.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city...accessible to all points of interest. 2 bars; 2 restaurants
Pros:

My only (semi) complaint is that the breakfast is not included in all packages. This is a pricey hotel in the city center and that would have been an added bonus.

Für uns hat das Virgin Hotels Edinburgh wirklich alles, was wir uns von einem perfekten Hotel wünschen.

Unser Zimmer war nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch unglaublich durchdacht: viel Ablagefläche, ein Ganzkörperspiegel, ein eigener Schminktisch, eine grosse Dusche und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Alles war ausserdem ausgesprochen sauber und gepflegt.

Die Lage könnte kaum besser sein – viele der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Edinburghs sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar, gleichzeitig war es in unserem Zimmer angenehm ruhig.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die hoteleigene Bar hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen und auch das Essen im Eve Restaurant war hervorragend.

Mein Mann und ich waren rundum begeistert. Wenn wir wieder nach Edinburgh kommen, würden wir jederzeit erneut im Virgin Hotels Edinburgh übernachten – für uns gibt es keinen Grund, nach einem anderen Hotel zu suchen.

Идеальный отель, все очень атмосферно! Бар в виде библиотеки шикарное место для фото. В самом центре, все очень удобно.

Challenging to sleep in a middle of a night club
Pros:

Location is very good.

Cons:

It is impossible to sleep before 3 a.m. because there is a nightclub directly below the windows of most rooms. The staff were completely unhelpful and refused to offer any compensation or goodwill gesture. It was an absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Excellent place for two or three nights in Edinburgh
Pros:

Very nice, elegant hotel right in the heart of old town Edinburgh. Rooms are fashionable, very comfortable and updated. Excellent breakfast in very nice restaurant. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
