Perfect placement right near Taksim Square with sea view!

Perfect placement right near Taksim Square in the heart of the touristic area close to many restaurants and shopping area. Also close to the stadium of Besiktas which was our objective

Probably won't stay here again
Pros:

I stayed 9 nights. At first glance, the hotel has a cool vibe that makes a decent first impression. There are also a few nice aspects to the room. The electric fireplace was a cozy touch. Having a small kitchen-like area made the space feel more suitable for a longer stay.

The couch was comfortable, and the sea view from the balcony was nice. I also appreciated that when I pointed out issues (like the dusty balcony) it was addressed.

They were extremely kind, polite, and clearly doing their best in a difficult situation. Small gestures, like providing extra bedding and responding quickly when I asked for cleaning, were appreciated. Unfortunately, the structural and maintenance issues of the hotel go far beyond what friendly service can make up for.

Cons:

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. At first glance, the hotel looks cool, almost stylish. Unfortunately, that illusion falls apart the moment you spend a few minutes in the room.

The biggest issue is the condition of the room itself. The room is literally falling apart. It seems like everything has simply been covered with paint or quick fixes to make it look acceptable from a distance, but once you actually use anything, you realize how deteriorated it all is.

One of the most disturbing things was the condition of the walls in the room. The humidity damage is extreme, the paint is visibly peeling, bubbling, and literally falling apart. It gives the entire space a damp, neglected feeling. This is not just a minor cosmetic issue, it’s something you cannot ignore.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable. You can see the springs of the mattress with the naked eye, you don’t even have to lie down to notice it. And when you do lie down, those springs poke into your ribs so badly that I woke up feeling bruised. The staff kindly provided two extra duvets/blankets, which I layered over the mattress, and that did help somewhat, but it doesn’t change the fact that the mattress itself is essentially unusable and should not be in service.

When you take a shower, the bathroom floods. There is visible black mold between the tiles throughout the bathroom. The shower head itself looks like it’s barely hanging on and appears to be awkwardly attached to the ceiling just so it doesn’t fall apart. Same thing with the toilet seat.

Cleanliness and overall upkeep were not at a great standard, although I do want to note that the two housekeepers I encountered seemed to try their best within the situation.

The phone, the hair dryer, and the lights in the room don’t even work properly. They provided another hair dryer but took it back later on because another guest needed it since their hair dryer didn't work either.

Friendly, cozy and caring
Pros:

The hotel is cozy the rooms are great and the staff very helpful, it’s my second visit and again Mary and her colleagues were very tentative, caring and responding very fast to resolve any issue.I got a bit sick during the stay and they were keep checking on me in case I needed any help.

Just the stair are very narrow and the fact that the last floor to go in the elevator was 5 and the suite is on the 6th. But this was mentioned in the reservation

Το δωμάτιο αρκετά παρατημένο με καμένο καναπέ λίγο βρώμικο; Σπασμένα παράθυρα στο μπάνιο πολλά εξαρτήματα είχαν ξεκολλήσει ή εστία της κουζίνας σπασμένη,η μπαλκονόπορτα δεν έκλεινε καλά και το μπαλκόνι επίσης καμένοι καναπέδες και αρκετά βρώμικα Επίσης η μια πόρτα στην μια κρεβατοκάμαρα δεν έκλινε!
