Clean, quiet.
it was in the best location (tucked away in the neighborhood surrounded by trees! so pretty) and very close to new buffalo. it felt so homey and cozy. it was extremely clean as well, a huge plus!

The facility itself was BEAUTUFUL!! It was easy communication, check-in and check-out.
Once you are in the downtown area, it is a great area. Lots to do and see.
Our room was next to the common area which had a large family/group taking over the space the entire time. Small kids yelling and running up and down halls and on 2nd floor above our room. Quiet during quiet hours only. Walls are thin.
Be aware that location is at the border of Indiana. Some Marijuana products are illegal in Indiana but legal in Michigan. Upon entry to New Buffalo, we drove past over 4 miles of nothing but dispensaries. Smell of Marijuana outside the facility made enjoying firepit and outdoor common areas impossible for us.
It was well-designed. Everything nicely thought-out. I stayed in January and was the only one there, except for a grounds-keeper that I saw through the window. The free laundry was great, as was the common room with the fake but warm gas fireplace and lots of tables and natural light. It was a short walk to the beach. There was lots of outdoors space which I didn’t use (January, snow).
In my small room (1 bed) there was no closet or clothes rack or much storage at all, though there was plenty of hooks. There was one off-center window. No desk or desk chair. It’s not a room to spend much time inside during the day. That’s what the large amount of common rooms are for.
Beautiful location I sold in the woods on a creek. Very clean and comfortable.
My only complaint is, I wish there had been a toaster in the room

It’s a beautiful property with great rooms with kitchens. We cooked anything we wanted and loved the complimentary s’mores.

Clean rooms, lovely property, But seems to need some updating, rooms & hallways have an odd smell, must, old, Mayb an air purifier or dehumidifier would help, but it bothered me, pretty strong smell.
We had a fantastic stay - the management and staff are amazing, and the facilities were all excellent. The hotel had a real community feel and was a great place to meet other people.
Great stay for a large family, stayed in the 3 bedroom suite.
This property was in a wooded area. It would be a great place to stay on retreat with a group or with friends that want to go glamping. There’s a pool, firepit, and a nice community area. Our room was clean and the customer service was great. It’s not within walking distance of the beach, shopping, or restaurants so keep that in mind. We had to drive everyday.

This was a great place to stay and unwind for a couple days. It’s off the beaten path so to speak, but close to a Lake Michigan beach and also restaurants, etc of New Buffalo. Mostly a quiet property in a very nice neighborhood; wooded with nice amenities.
Had a couple of minor glitches but glitches were handled promptly! Easy communication via email. I will come back here again.
The location of this hotel is ideal. Close to Michigan City, New Buffalo and a 5 min walk to the lake. The hotel offers so many things for the convenience of the guests. We stayed in Suite 11 which happens to be the only room with direct balcony access overlooking the pool which was great. We had 1 bedroom and a couch with a pull out bed. The bedroom bed was excellent however the pull out bed was sub par. Extremely uncomfortable. There was no maid service or turndown service like a normal hotel which was okay with us as our stay was short. Overall we really liked it and would stay here again but would choose a different room only because of the pull out bed.
Manager stuff was very nice and pleasant, but bed and sofa were very old and not comfortable, otherwise we liked our stay
