Need to upgrade the shower head with shower sprout

An average decent accommodation in a run down neighborhood. Hotel royal paris is all but Royal. Its located right at the border of ivery-sur-seine and Vitry-sur-seine. There are some abandoned and commercial buildings nearby which gives the whole place a unpleasant atmosphere. Although main Ivery-sur-seine seems to be a nice bustling place, this hotel is a bit far from that pleasant parisian area. It is more closer to Vitry-sur-seine which seems more like a crime infected, graffiti laden neighborhood. If you are new to the area, you would like to avoid this particular part of the city. The nearest Metro station is 15 min walk and falls in the Vitry area. Ivery-sur- seine Metro stop is 25 min walk and runs though some abandoned part of the town. Overall, an overnight stay may be ok but I would avoid this part if the city if visiting for vacation.

En revanche chambre mal insonorisée. Mais pour un court passage. Je recommande.

Overall the quality of the hotel was good for a budget hotel. The room was clean and was cleaned everyday and the staff were pleasant and lovely. The transport connections were in my opinion good only one bus to metro stations close by such as quai de la gare or Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand which took you to Paris and all the attraction in Paris. The transport in Paris is very good and easy to use even if it’s your first time in Paris. Also there was a Lidl near by a 5 minute walk away which was very useful during my stay in getting essentials and food. Also a lot of food restaurants near by which was also useful. However, the walls are not sound proof so you can hear people walking in the corridors and talking. Also above me especially on the first night there was a lot of banging but stopped by 11pm. This is a very good hotel to book when on a budget

This hotel should be avoided if you want to go to Paris, it is in a non tourist part of the city with no tourist friendly restaurants or bars. The nearest train station (not metro) is a 10 minute walk away and the trip to the city is 40 minutes. The hotel lobby and reception area is nice however that is where it ends. Our room stank of smoke and was in dire need of an overhaul. During our stay the lift was broken and we had to use the stairs which were filthy dirty for the time we were there. Given the location and disrepair of the room we only stayed one night and moved hotels to the Montparnasse region of the city which is a great location with superb metro links to anywhere in the city.

Very nice customer service. I love everything about this hotel. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to save and yet have quality for the buck. I came to visit family living near here, but they did not have enough room to accommodate us, so we chose this for proximity.

Me encantó. Las reviews no eran tan buenas pero me llevo una grata sorpresa. Soy argentino me atendieron 10 puntos. Como en casa. A la mañana había un tipo de Siria en recepción, un genio total. Los demás no he tratado mucho pero no desentonan. Por error encontré este más lejano al centro pero superó ampliamente mis expectativas. Desayuné y diez puntos todo. No tuve ningún problema.

It’s ok, a bit dated, breakfast adequate, but the location means that you’re going to spend a lot of money on taxis. I’d use the taxi money to stay in a better hotel in central paris. Tye deco is a bit gaudy, the bedrooms are ok, big enough, staff are polite.

Super hôtel , juste une odeur d’ancien dans la chambre à chaque entrée dans celle-ci , manque de miroirs … salle de bain assez petite dommage mais sinon impeccable.

La chambre que j'avais ne ressemble pas du tout à celles des photos du site. Les moquettes sont sales, les lumières ne fonctionnent pas toutes et la salle de bain est insalubre. Le rideau de douche etait sale. Une infection. Le seul point positif est la gentillesse du personnel, meme sil parle tres mal français !

I stayed at this hotel with my two children Sunday 13th august 2023. Thank god it was for only one night .
The room smelt of damp but I was willing to over that as just for one night , but the shower did not work. It didn’t run any water at all out of the hot tap in the shower and when I asked reception why , the rude man simply said the whole hotel had a problem and was waiting to be fixed and that it wasn’t his problem ! Then he refused to speak to me and looked away .
I’m a single mum travelling with two small children and We couldn’t shower whilst at this hotel .
They shouldn’t rent these rooms out without basic facilities like hot running water !

The worst stay in any hotel ever. When I checked in, Amanda at the front desk did not like the fact that I couldn't speak fluent French, so, along with the maid, they provided me with a room on the 6th floor that had construction going on at 4AM and then again from 7AM-9AM on my first night there. It only became worse with very little sleep each night during my stay at this hotel, as people whom stay there are; constantly yelling through the halls, smoking by your door, and banging on walls throughout all hours of the night and early morning. I had to have my room changed 4 times tjroughout my 5 day stay and there wasn't; a french electrical outlet that they would let me borrow, an umbrella for daily usage like other hotels, and they don't even have laundry service. As a result, I had to waste my first day in Paris walking around the neighborhood trying to locate these items of which the front desk should have carried for guests. Ultimately, if you want to get some sleep and not have to be concerned with front desk attendants of whom do not really want to help you have a nice stay at their hotel when you are traveling from another country, stay ANYWHERE BUT AT THIS HOTEL! Lastly, there was a front desk attendant whom was more concerned why I wasn't spending $10 on the breakfast instead of the fact that I was placed on a floor the night before where the hotel attendants KNEW that they would have construction going on the 6th floor and placed me there anyway.

Absolutely brilliant staff and very friendly.

The staff I encountered were very nice. Unfortunately, they still have some issues to solve with regard to the property. WIFI only worked in Lobby, not upper floors. While cleaning the room, the maid caused the toilet to malfunction. Reported it to the lobby staff, but the repairman didn't fix it during my 2-day stay. The lobby staff tried to make up for some of the issues, for example, they comped me a breakfast one morning. The hotel is located in a so-so area. Overall, felt like it was worth about 20-25 Euros less than I paid.
