Extremely secure building! Very clean and well maintained. Very close to everything you would want to see or do.
Couch and bed were not comfortable, Very hard. It was a very cold weekend in Cleveland. The living room got a bit chilly, even though we had heat up to max, 74. We actually used towels to cover up with.
The apartment style was great--beautifully converted historic building. Beds were comfortable. Amenities were great--coffee bar, gym. And, although our stay was short, it was nice to have a kitchen.
The HVAC unit in the apartment was really loud in the living room.
Great location and big room.
Nothing:)
Excelente apartamento
Deberían dar servicio de limpieza y cambios de toallas y sábanas ya que ellos se catalogan como un hotel
I loved everything about the property. This is my go to anytime I’m in town!!
Well, I’m allergic to dogs so my allergies were going crazy. However that’s no fault of the hotel. I just need to request a room in which animals hadn’t been. Nevertheless I still wouldn’t book anywhere else but the ROOST while in town.
I’ll say this, the space itself was nice. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable.
The first sign that something was off was when we noticed the sheet and blankets on one of the beds didn’t reach all the way from one side to the other. We discovered that was because one of the sheets had a two-foot tear in it that housekeeping had tried to hide by tucking it way in under the mattress. How they thought this would go unnoticed, hard to fathom. But this is Roost in a nutshell. On the surface, luxurious. But below the surface is a weird miserly stinginess and hostile indifference to service.
Which leads me to the Coffee Situation. From reading one of the hotel's negative reviews, I knew in advance that there was some confusion about coffee. I knew to expect a supply of beans in the kitchen and understood there’d be free coffee available in the 5th floor public space.
Problem one: what I didn’t know, and which the hotel explains nowhere, is that the small handful of beans they give you to start is all you’re going to get, no matter how long you stay. There’s no note in the kitchen telling you this. There’s no mention anywhere in the info sheet you get at check-in. It’s all a Great Big Mystery. They allot you enough beans for 2 complimentary cups, a bizarre number, given that the place we rented had 2 bedrooms with king beds. It pretty much goes without saying there were more than two of us.
As for the Top Secret coffee station on the 5th floor, which I knew about only because of the negative review, it was out of cups for the whole two days of our stay. I reported this to someone on our first morning. No cups ever appeared.
When it became clear that our paltry bean supply wouldn’t be refilled and there would never be cups on the 5th floor, I called down the front desk. Three times I called. Once on our first night. Twice the next morning. Three times no one answered. There times I left voicemails. Three times no one ever responded.
At checkout, I complained in person. The clerk, indifferent, said I should leave comments. Consider it done!
It looked real elegant on the inside
All around great stay location was great staff was great
The room it self wasn’t very clean under the beds had old water worries and lots of dust. The kitchen items were dirts as well like the pit and bowl etc.
Everything was beautiful inside
