Gazebo Inn Oceanfront

It was a dated property but like I said it was being renovated and very clean. The views were worth it! I could have paid over $300 a night at the highrise property next door and not gotten the incredible sunsets beaming into our room. My family enjoyed the beach and our sunsets and sunrises right off our balcony. It was a win win!

Nasty our beds was dirty took us til 6 pm to get clean beds they wasn’t even made when we checked in. It took us til 9 pm that night just to get towels and wash clothes our room was nasty one of the cleaning ladies was very run when we ask for help. Someone else personal belongings was left in the room we had to take them to front desk. One of our beds had a dry blood stain on it they just covered it with a sheet. I won’t be stay again.

It is very run down and out dated first off.. Secondly they allow their housekeepers to go into your rooms even when your not there. Wife and i left, came back and it was evident that someone came into our room while we was out. I went to the office to voice my concern. Found out it was the manager housekeeper that went into our room. Luckily i did have money or valuables in my room. Front office said that is their normal operations procedures. If i would have filed a police report, law enforcement would have watched the video of wife and i leaving, house keeper going into room(with us not there) and if there was money or valuables missing that person (housekeeper) would have been arrested. Question , is it right for anyone to go into your room without your permission and/or knowledge? If you said NO, then you don't want to stay at the gazebo inn

Rundown, bleach smell in rooms, fridge & freezer didn’t work.

The staff was very rude and it was extremely hot in the office and halls with no ac at all. I got a room the first time and was given someone else's room that was already staying there until I got a new room and the room I got wasnt fully cleaned nor the pillows had pillows cases even after being told someone fix it but they never did. The next day asked for extra towels just to get complete additude and no towels brought to me. I definitely will not be coming back to this hotel and will be letting people know not to book any rooms with yall with the way we was treated.

All we could smell was weed the whole time from others in hotel and balcony.. watched homeless people shoot up right next to the beach pathway literally 10ft from hotel..

The hotel is in much need of renovation
The pool and hot top water was cloudy
We attempted to check in @ 1pm and was told would get a text when room was ready
Never received a text
Went to the office a little after 3pm and had to wait in line to enter the office to check to see if room was available
Finally the office person informed me that room was ready, but there was no towel or wash cloths in the room due they were being washed
We made it to the room still had no towels or wash cloths by 5 pm
There was no phone in the room so had to go directly to office to speak to someone.
Left the hotel to get something to eat and return at around 8pm and still no towels or wash cloths in the room
Went to the office to inquire about the towels and wash cloths again and
Was informed that housekeeping was delivering towels and wash cloths to the rooms
Finally towels and wash cloths were provided around 9 pm
Didn’t know the floors were extremely dirty until after washing and socks became black
The floors in the room must are never cleaned
The balcony is also overlooked when cleaning due to a swimming wear was still on the balcony from other guests
Someone rated this hotel as a 3 star hotel which was a lie
The rate should be one or less
The back access door to the pool is about the come off the hinges
The doors in the doors looks like they had been in a flood
One of the lamps in the room had rust on it which means it had been weathered by the storm
The power outlet in the bathroom didn’t work
Also there was no exhaust fan to remove the condensation from the bathroom when you washed
You can best believe I will never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone
