Our room was clean and fresh and comfortable.
The room was small and didn’t have tea making facilities in our room, but tea making facilities were very close outside our room.

For a week long stay I would say that the room area for any luggage is less, but for couple of days the stay and room area of a double bed is great! Clean place (sometimes the building shake due to the underground rail but that’s expected!) and best staff in my opinion. I stay in London for 3days every 2weeks and it’s really best place to stay.
Room area if possible can be setup to serve week long stays if possible.
Cannot beat the location. Right in the heart of Central London, two minutes from Paddington rail and underground stations. Access to several tube lines that can easily take you to anywhere you want to go in Central London, The City, or Greater London. Easy to get to/from airports and any trains that take you to other areas of the UK. Also great location to get buses to different areas in London. We had an extended stay so convenient to have a laundromat close by.
It is a boutique hotel, and housed in a grade II listed Victorian townhouse (or several Victorian houses that have been connected), so smaller in size, no on premises dining, no elevator. There are several floors, so if you have heavy luggage you will have to carry it up/down stairs if located on the upper floors, & up/down stairs at the entrance of the building. The stairs would be problematic for anyone with a physical disability.
Of note: rooms do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided, but may not be adequate on days when the temperature is mid-70s (mid-20s Celsius) and higher (depends on your heat/humidity tolerance).
We knew before we booked there was no air conditioning and no elevators, so no surprises there.
Staff were excellent, extremely helpful if we had questions. Housekeeping was excellent, they came every day to change towels, to clean room & make bed/change linens. Room sizes were good for our needs (superior double and superior twin for two kids late teens/early twenties).
Of note: they do not provide face/wash cloths, so bring your own.
They provide complimentary chilled spring water & chilled sparkling water in lobby - you will need a water bottle for this. There is also a small snack vending machine just off the lobby on the ground floor.
We were able to store our bags before check-in.
Location
No lift, had to carry our luggage 4 floors up. Room too small.
The closeness to Paddington Station. The nice and helpful receptionists.
My room looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. There was constant noises coming from the other rooms and from the street. Deformed matress on my bed (very uncomfortable). There was no "do not disturb" sign for the doors and I was surprised with my door opened when I went back to my room at the end of the day. All my things could have been stolen.
The room was cosy and compact but had just enough space to open a large suitcase comfortably. The bed was comfortable, with power sockets conveniently located nearby, and the shower, although small, had plenty of hot water. The room overlooked a small courtyard area, and having the sink in the room rather than the bathroom worked well.
The location is excellent, with Tube and train stations only a short walk away and a great selection of restaurants, shops, and pubs nearby. The staff were friendly, luggage storage was available, and the TV, lighting, and on-site vending machines with coffee and water were useful extras.
The steps to my room (1613) were narrow and quite dark, making them awkward to manage with a large suitcase. Guests are also required to hand in their room key when leaving the property, which may not be convenient for everyone.
Train noise can be heard from the room, so light sleepers may find it disruptive, although services stop for a few hours during the early morning.
Clean and modern
Stairs only
Amazing location, not so much noise despite being behind paddington station. Clean rooms, lovely staff and for a shared bathroom it was extremely clean ! Felt like my own bathroom
NA
Me gustó que la zona era muy bonita, la habitación muy limpia y cómoda y el personal muy amable
Que no tenía ascensor
Lovely room. Friendly reception.
A cleaning staff member entered our room without knocking. Even though I had already told them that no cleaning was needed, they entered without knocking once again. Furthermore, when we returned to the room, there was an empty plastic bottle that didn't belong to us in the trash can, which was very frightening. I don't think the security can be trusted.
Wunderschönes Interieur, das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich.
Die Lage ist perfekt, Cafés, Restaurants, Bushaltestelle sowie Padddington Station in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Komme gerne wieder.
Just round the corner from Paddington but on a little square so it was quiet even with the window ajar overnight. Had a fairly comfy bed and own bathroom for pretty low cost compared to other places I looked.
Not in their control to change but my room was at the top of a lot of stairs!
Struttura molto carina, pulita e accogliente. Si trovano in una posizione perfetta a due passi dalla metro. Staffa gentile e disponibile.
Forse l’unica scomodità è che non c’è l’ascensore, ma per il resto nulla da dire.
