Great location, clean, nice staff
Pros:

Great location next to paddington station. Just a 15 minutes walk walk to notting hill. The staff was excellent. Very kind and helpful.

Cons:

Ask for a room not on the street side. Can be a bit noisy for.light sleepers (bring silicone earplugs)

Die Lage ist erstklassig. Zimmer klein aber gemütlich.

Schöne Bilder im Treppenhaus. Gut renoviertes Zimmer.

Cons:

Es war sehr heiss im Zimmer, das Fenster konnten wir nur minimal öffnen und der Ventilator hat zwar etwas Abhilfe geschaffen, war aber ectrem laut.

Very strange system that you need to give your key to reception when you are out. Felt very weird. Also quite noisy - you can feel vibrations from the trains plus I could hear the neighbours snoring, that’s how thin walls are

Finally, we’d like to make one suggestion to the hotel’s management: please consider adjusting the window restrictors so

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. They made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay.

When we first checked in, our room had an unattractive view. The next day, we asked if it would be possible to move, and the staff kindly arranged a new room without any issues. We really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled.

Cons:

The only significant downside was the windows. In our new room, the window could only be opened by about 8 cm because of newly installed restrictors. We were told these had been fitted only a few months earlier. During our stay, the outside temperature was around 30°C, and without air conditioning, the room became extremely hot. The hotel kindly provided a small fan, which we appreciated, but it was quite noisy and wasn’t enough to cool the room.

We knew in advance that the hotel did not have air conditioning, and we were completely prepared for that. What we did not expect was that the windows could barely be opened. If they opened even 20–30 cm, it would provide enough fresh air while still maintaining the safety function of the restrictors.

Apart from this issue, everything else was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay. If you’re planning to visit during hot weather, it’s worth keeping this in mind when booking.

Great value , clean and convenient for Paddington train station
Pros:

Fantastic location just minutes to walk to Paddington station
We booked this hotel last minute having missed our last train home. Both my partner and I thought this hotel was excellent value and it was spotlessly clean.

Cons:

Some may find it’s too close as may get some noise from trains

It was ok and convenient for a last minute stay

Cons:

They put us in one of those basement room, could hear/feel the underground and it didn’t look like it was fully booked. Clean enough
