Pros:

Second time staying at Sudima Kaikōura, and it never fails to amaze me. ❤️

The view is always spectacular, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff are all so accommodating, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which makes the whole stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated how one of the staff members went out of his way to assist us, sorry forgot his name, he’s wearing eyeglasses and was stationed Friday 6:30 PM on 28/08/26. Thanks!!

We always feel so welcomed and relaxed here. It’s the kind of place where you can simply sit back, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and forget about everything for a little while. 🥰

Another wonderful stay, and definitely a place we’d happily come back to again and again. Highly recommended! 🌊🏔️❤️

Pros:

It was perfect in every way. Clean and comfortable. The view of the snow capped mountains and the bay from our top floor room was spectacular. As an added bonus the sunrise was awe inspiring. Never seen anything like it in before.

A fantastic stopping off point on our trip to Picton Ferry.
Pros:

Well positioned with excellent facilities and a great restaurant where we had an excellent evening meal. Great breakfast.

We loved our stay at Sudima. We had one of the beachfront rooms which was really cool! Staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Unfortunately the food and drinks were a bit of a let down. We had dinner in the restaurant, I ordered the Steak and my husband had the Chicken. My steak was cooked well but there was only a couple of stalks of brocolli and 2 overcooked carrots and one small potato ( not crispy ) to accompany our main's. Not worth the cost!!
I dont know if the young girl behind the bar knew what she was doing, I ordered a lemon, lime and bitters and it was so strong it was undrinkable and it was a bright orange colour ( it is supposed to be a very pale colour ) which is not right. My husband had the cocktail special and found the same problem with his. Its unfortunate because I couldnt fault the hotel otherwise.
