Urlaub im Kilima Resort - Immer wieder gern!
Pros:

Koen und Florance sind fantastische Gastgeber, die sich sofort kümmern, sobald man eine Bitte oder Frage hat! Jede Mahlzeit war ein Highlight und nicht zu übertreffen! So frisch die Zutaten, oft aus eigenem Garten oder Shamba, so abwechslungsreich die warmen Mahlzeiten, einfach nicht zu übertreffen! Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes wunderbar aufgehoben gefühlt!

Great food and view and the room was primative and cold.
Pros:

The food was great and worth the cost. The view was the greatest part of the experience.

Cons:

The room was authentic, traditional, primative and quite cold at night. Almost like camping.

Amazing stay in Iten!
Pros:

We really enjoyed staying at Keon’s and Florence’s place. Especially the breakfast and the joint dinner was amazing! We had the best banana bread ever!
The place is very calm and has an amazing scenic view of the Kerio Valley!
The waterfall hike was another highlight, just a few minutes walk.

Lovely place with outstanding view

View is outstanding.
You are right at the top of mountain.
You can see lovely sunrise coming to your door.
Owner of property is hard working and everything was done to perfection.

Highly recommended.
Pros:

The room size was good. Superb views over the Great Rift Valley from the property grounds. The excellent Kaptagat Forest was easily accessible, just a short walk away along a decent track. The host was very responsive to our questions beforehand. Breakfast (included in the room rate) and dinner (excellent value) were both very good. Coffee was excellent. Vegetarian meals were no problem for the hosts. Wi-fi was also very good. The temperature was also very pleasant - not too hot, or too cold.

Cons:

The main issue at the time of our stay was the poorly-maintained access track from Iten to Kilima. It was very poor. However, an alternative route to the property (that we were unaware of at the time) is much better, making the journey back to Iten easier for us. The host will detail you this good route, and so this hopefully will not be issue any more.

Very pleasant facility with friendly hosts and excellent view of the Kerio valley.
Pros:

We occupied the family house, which was more than spacious for our 4-members family. Meals together with the host family were very good and we enjoyed the chat as well. The view from the house and the garden is breathtaking.

Pros:

The hosts are a power-couple regarding their hospitality and delicious food! Because of the distance to town we had dinners at the property and were thrilled with the delicious, healthy, homemade options! We were able to sample some of their recently harvested avocados and coffee! We were able to purchase cold beers with which to enjoy the sunset casting its shadow into the valley below. The cool nights make for some deep sleeping! The hosts helped us arrange a safari down into the valley! Very nice experience!

Cons:

I prefer window screens to mosquito nets but that's just my preference. I think the showers need a shelf for shampoo and soap.
