Pros:

A fantastic stay in a small, quiet hamlet — exactly the kind of place you come to for peace, nature, and authenticity. The house itself is an old property that has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated: lots of character, but everything feels fresh, clean, and comfortable.
The restaurant was the standout. Dinner was genuinely excellent — high-quality ingredients, great execution, and a menu that feels like real cuisine rather than “hotel food.” If you stay here, I’d strongly recommend eating on-site.
The location is also perfect if you like the outdoors: there are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby, and the setting makes it easy to switch off and just enjoy the landscape.

Pros:

O local é muito bonito, uma construção antiga revitalizada e extremamente bem conservada. Os vinhos são muito bons e com características únicas. O atendimento foi excepcional. O café da manhã é bem servido, com boas opções em um sistema a la carte.

Cons:

No geral não teve nada que não gostamos, mas o custo foi bastante elevado para a experiência como um todo, e fomos em baixa temporada. Pelo que gastamos, já tivemos experiência mais requintadas em outros locais na Catalunha.

Wonderful place! Beautifully restored old buildings surrounded by vineyards create a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast in the garden on a warm morning is delightful. As the only guests, we were upgraded to a spacious, spotless room with stunning views. The staff were very friendly and even prepared a packed lunch for our early departure. A flawless experience I highly recommend!

Pros:

Old world charm with a top notch staff. Food and wine were exceptional. Location was perfect with wonderful grounds to walk and enjoy. Del Pendes Villafranca was a quick drive but if you enjoy peace and tranquility Hotel Montrubi is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality and ability to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.

Si lo que buscas es desconectarte de verdad, con buena gastronomía y mucho confort, este es tu sitio! Todo perfecto, desde la habitación, piscina, restaurante. Lo hemos disfrutado muchísimo.
