We loved out stay in Hacienda Valentino, thanks to all those who made it great.
Pros:

Cute hotel boutique, comfortable, warm (no humidity or could in the rooms as it is usual on San Cristobal), well decorated for Christmas, with pleasant space out side. The staff and owners have been VERY nice with all the family, including out 3 children. Practical to have a restaurant/cafe on the side the hotel and the singer in the evenings made our stay during thé end of the year more festive. Located close to touristic places. We would definitively recommend this great hotel boutique un San Cristóbal.

Ein Aufenthalt, der entspannend und schön war!
Pros:

Ein sehr schönes inhabergeführtes Hotel mit schöner Bar und gutem Restauraunt. Die schön eingerichteten Zimmer sind dankenswerterweise geheizt, man mag sich kaum vorstellen, wie kalt es in San Cristobal nachts werden kann. Ein schlecht ablaufender Abfluss wurde innerhalb eines Tages repariert. Ein sehr angenehmer Ort zum Übernachten!

Cons:

Wer auf schnelles Internet in den Zimmern angewiesen ist, ist hiermit nicht gut beraten. Das sollte mit einer vernünftigen WLAN-Ausleuchtung einfach zu beheben sein. Zudem hat mich etwas verwundert, dass man Montags nur ein Notfrühstück bekommt, obwohl man dieses durchgängig mitgebucht hat. Ansonsten ist das Frühstück sehr gut.

Camere bellissime, letto molto comodo, bagno leggermente piccolo ma funzionale!!
Personale accogliente e sempre disponibile.
Colazione abbondante e buonissima, con possibilità di scelta tra piatti dolci o salati. Ti forniscono acqua potabile quando vuoi.
Si sono incaricati di portarci la roba in lavanderia e farcela riavere pulita.
Posizione a pochi passi dal centro.

Il pavimento non era perfettamente pulito al nostro arrivo.

We loved our stay at Hacienda Valentino and can't wait to come again in April.
Pros:

The accommodation is tucked away a short walk from the main area. We really appreciated how quiet and tranquil HV felt. Tim was super accommodating with all of our questions and needs. The food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. We missed out on meeting the sweet pup Valentino....but hopefully next time!!

Cons:

The pillows were a bit large and firm for us, but Tim had a couple of smaller ones brought to our room which was much appreciated!!

החדר בקומה שנייה בו שהו זוג חברים היה מתחת לכל ביקורת,ריח נוראי כמו של ריסוס או חומר כימי אחר.היה קשה לשהות בחדר הזה.עדכנו את בעל המלון,הוא היה מופתע,את המלון הזמנו למרות שהיתה תגובה על הריח. חבל!!!!! סבל של שלושה ימים.

A charming boutique hotel with an on-site restaurant. The included breakfast is tasty and filling.
The staff is amazing — attentive to every need, and the owners are present and always approachable.
We received wonderful service; the atmosphere felt very warm and family-like.

Cons:

The room was clean and tidy. When we arrived, there was a strong scent of ant spray — it’s great that they take care of pest control, we just recommend airing out the room before guests arrive.
The Wi-Fi is strong overall, but could be improved inside the rooms. Note that there are two Wi-Fi networks; connecting to both helps ensure a stable signal.
Other than that — everything was perfect! Highly recommended

Unique stay
Pros:

The designs of the room and the hotel its self was unique. They try to preserve the existing trees and include them in the design of the overall space and each room. Spacious and comfy bed. We asked for vegan option for the breakfast and they were more than happy to provide us. Friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect stay
Pros:

This was my 5th time in San Cristobal and I always stay in different hotels to try and to compare. This time I made conscious choice of selecting something on a side street and away from the hustle to enjoy peace. Another reason was this is one of very few hotels in SC with AC - and the first one for me that didn’t smell of dump and mold inside! The room was spacious, bright and modern. I kept balcony door open as much as possible to breath fresh air and listen to birds singing. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The room was very clean, bedsheets and towels white and crispy clean. We had welcome fruit and drinking water in the room waiting for us. Our breakfast was included and very tasty. Service always polite, professional and available to help. I wish we stayed longer to try more of their restaurant offerings!

Pros:

La propiedad tiene todo limpio y comodo pero el datalle que tuvimos de una mala comunicacion con un empleado y cuando quisimos hablar con el manejador, pues el no quiso hablar con nosotros. Asi que terminamos pagando por un tour que NO autorizamos. Todos se lavaron sin asumir responsabilidades. Y solo esa situacion me hace que no vuelva a ir a ese hotel. Otra cosita mas, ellos no atienden los lunes. No hay comida, no limpian los cuartos y nada funciona ahi. NUNCA reserven el lunes.

Very nice comfortable stay
Pros:

Our premium room was well appointed and comfortable. The host and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were able to check in early in the morning as we had arrived to SC, and enjoy complimentary breakfast.
Slight negatives - whilst the bed was very comfortable and had a nice light duvet, the pillows I found too bulky to sleep on. I could not work the air con /heating system, even though I tried to follow the instructions provided.
All in all, very comfortable stay at Hacienda Valentino, a short walk away from all the central attractions in San Cristobal.
