A nice hotel, let down by its location
Pros:

A modern hotel with lots of facilities, well away from the usual tourist areas.

Cons:

It’s located in an industrial/warehouse area so the surroundings are somewhat run down. Also, the location isn’t great for public transport.

Decent hotel but in a poor location
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room and good facilities for disabled people. Restaurants were both good and fair value for money. Free secure parking was appreciated.

Cons:

It's in the middle of a very run-down area, a long way from any good bars or restaurants (particularly for someone in a wheelchair). Had to rent a car for part of the time, to get to restaurants etc.
Chamber maids were not well trained in environmental policies - all towels were changed daily even if not left in the shower as requested by the management, and one of our personal towels left on the bed was taken away (and had to be replaced by the hotel). Opening hours of the restaurants were too restricted. Electrics in the room failed daily and had to be reset - the maintenance staff seemed unable to determine and fix the cause.
