Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. Very stylish lobby.

Cons:

The gym had a broken machine and it was used to get water therefore people who didn't intend to go to the gym kept walking in and out. The pillows were too soft.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Wonderful hotel and an excellent stay overall. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and assisted us promptly with check‑in. We also appreciated the complimentary welcome drink. The hotel is clean, modern, and conveniently located—about a 20–30 minute walk from many major attractions. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind and attentive.
The onsite onsen was a highlight for us. After long days out exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. PJs and slippers as well as full amenities to get ready after the bath were provided. The lounge area downstairs was another great touch, offering drinks and plenty of comfortable space to relax. Overall, a wonderful experience—I would happily stay here again.

Cons:

For visitors unfamiliar with Japanese bathing etiquettes, I highly recommend doing a quick search or watching a short video beforehand. During our visit, we observed a few foreign guests who were unaware of proper etiquette and were being loud (the men’s and women’s baths are separate). Embracing the cultural norms truly enhances the experience, and any unpleasant behavior reflects only on those individuals—not on the hotel or Japan.

Most comfortable beds which made our holiday.
Pros:

Traditional style accommodation Entrance garden was beautiful and foyer.
Our room was amazing - great size, beds so comfortable, two toilets which you need with 4 adults.
Staff so polite, friendly & helpful.
Coffee machine & snack bar made a huge difference and was such a treat.
Thank you.🙏

Cons:

Opposite the fire department so a little noisy at times but can’t be helped.
Could hear the road noise also but we are use to the quiet.

Good location excellent value for money.
Pros:

Beautiful building, nice entrance. Rooms were clean. And good size for two people. Beds were very comfortable. Good size bathroom, great shower water pressure. Close to subway line, only one stop from Kyoto station.
