Great location. Away from town traffic and within walking distance to a restaurant for dinner
Room had a musty smell, especially in the bathroom. TP roll holder does not hold roll properly. Easier to use with it removed.
Walls are not well insulated for sound. Occupant next door was a very loud snorer. Sounded like he slept in my room instead of on the other side of the wall.
Hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly the beds were extremely comfortable.
Tha facility was way way substandard for what I would expect from a Fairfield hotel. The room was tiny, poorly laid out, dirty rug. Bath tub floor was slippery.
Worst of all, the price was outrageous for this low quality of a hotel. We paid $354 for one night.
The next night, we stayed at a Beautiful Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake City and it only cost $157.
That Fairfield Hotel in Winnamucca was a total rip off. it should have been in the $ 140 price range, not $354
I wrote up a negative review on it that I hope others will read and stay away.

Clean and comfortable. Slightly on edge of town and near restaurant was nice
Nothing
Right location for a road trip from SF to SLC.
King bed fitted sheet didn’t fit. Why?
Orange juice sour as hell. Someone needs to find a different supplier.
Large well appointed room with a nice view, large bathroom and nice shower. The bed was pretty firm for us but we're used to a temperpedic, the breakfast was good and staff were very nice. Location is off the freeway enough you can't here cars or trucks when out by the pool. No traffic on the roads around the hotel. Outside of town which I liked and a wingers bar n grill next door with a little casino.
No housekeeping. The cleaning person was 2 rooms down when I left one day and nothing. Was told someone called in sick on day 2 when i asked the front desk. So room didn't get cleaned at all. We arrived Wednesday on Sunday my wife(God bless her) went to front desk and asked to just be given sheets and towels and trash bags and she'd do it herself. Luckily the front desk lady came up and did the bed and trash and towels, tp. Not really what I paid for!
It has been a convenient place to stay.
The front desk person did not recognize the booking.com reservation when my husband arrived to check in (it was his birthday!) He was ready to leave when she said, no worries have your wife email the reservation info and I will take care of it for you. I emailed info and called to confirm they got it. Meanwhile, she took my husbands credit card and on May 30 a charge of 612.64 showed up under the Marriott name. But the charge from booking.com came through at 641.64 on May 25, 2026 ... The room they gave him was not same kind of room I reserved but a lesser one. When I called Fairfield Marriott I could not get the manager to respond, even though the front desk person gave her several messages and finally told me I was supposed to call booking.com which I did. The guy I talked to said he would call the hotel in Winnemucca to get it handled... but then told me no one would answer so he left a message and said for me to wait for the refund to show up ... which it has not. So I tried calling the "Elite Desk" at Marriott corporate and
Dimitrius was very rude, gave his talking points without listening to what happened and said they cannot give a refund because it was not their reservation made and I was to take it up with booking.com. So I again called booking.com and Rachel helped in a friendly manner, saying she should email us and the Marriott property in WInnemucca to get the refund started.
It had a bed where I could sleep.
Felt like a cut rate hotel with premium pricing. Fitted sheet on the bed was threadbare worn with a large tear in one corner. Toilet paper holder was broken unable to hold the roll. A little maintenance and quality control would be in order to live up to the brand name. Fell far below expectations.
The facility was clean and very quiet. Walking distance to resturant.
Breakfast was very good
A little over priced
Electrical power outage while checking in. Couldn't get a room assigned for approximately one and a half hours.
When they assigned me a room and I went to it, there was already someone in the room. Frustrating and embarrassing for the lady already in the room.
People next-door partied for two nights we ask him if they were gonna say we needed to move rooms. They did not accommodate.
Noisy neighbors
The farm fresh eggs were delicious and the biscuits were good also
The pool could’ve been heated and a sauna or a hot tub
