Pros:

Great location and views, but accommodations and amenities underwhelming
Pros:

Location was great, and property is lovely, lots of access points to rocks to climb to sit by the water, a beach by the playground to walk and explore, nice trails and dog friendly. But cost of stay doesn’t align with experience.

Pillows were old and lumpy bedding, bed not comfortable or good. I was allergic to something in the bed, so I left a night early that I had paid for. Towels are old and rough, toiletries provided are not good, bad quality. Beautiful view and location. Coffee provided was not of good quality, no ice-maker in freezer. Pool and hot tub area very dated and not great, hot tub jets need to be repaired as it’s not really working well and pool seemed to be under filled.

Front desk was not unfriendly but mostly concerned about ease of their own job vs being welcoming to guests. I’m sure the staff is asked the same questions over and over and as I mentioned they were not unfriendly but were putting ease of operation for themselves vs guest enjoyment.

Cons:

Overpriced for the quality and condition of lodging and amenities.

Stunning view, comfortable and cosy cabin!
Pros:

It was very clean, they had a Weber grill for each cabin, a fireplace in the living room and lots of firewood. We also did a fire pit in front of the lake. The pool, hot tub and sauna was clean and amazing. Stunning view and walk around the property! We loved everything about it! My puppy loved there too! We can’t wait to come back in the winter!

Overall a pleasant stay despite the flies situation
Pros:

The location was perfect, with a couple of nice cafes and general store within 10 mins drive in each direction. The villas are lovely and well situated close to the water on Lake Superior. The staff at the front desk was very helpful.

Cons:

There were A LOT of flies in our room... Even though we kept the doors and mesh doors closed at all times except quick in & out, the flies just kept appearing out of nowhere in our room. We killed more than a dozen of them during our 3-night stay. No wonder the room was equipped with 2 fly swatters.

Clean and cozy place to stay near Lutsen.
Pros:

The villa was very clean and tidy. We loved being steps from the rocky beach, and bonus that we were given s’more kits for our fire by the beach. Perfect location for exploring the north shore.

The location was spectacular. I've been coming up to the Northshore for 61 years and have never stayed in a better place.

Cons:

The light switches above the bed were too high. You had to get out of bed to turn them off.

Lutsen Sea Villas - A great place to stay on Lake Superior North Shore!
Pros:

I recently stayed in a charming townhome that was absolutely perfect for our getaway! The location was fantastic, offering easy daytrip hikes and a tremendous view of Lake Superior while providing a peaceful retreat at the same time.

The townhome itself was just the right size for two people and our furry friend. It was cozy, well-appointed, and had everything we needed to feel at home. With the short balcony and the step-down deck, we could enjoy morning sun and the moon and stars with a bit of privacy.

Beyond our days spent admiring the various views of Lake Superior, one of the highlights of our stay was definitely the hot tub and pool amenities. We loved relaxing in the spacious hot tub after long days of hiking. It was large enough to accommodate groups without feeling crowded, and the pool and sauna were also fantastic!

Overall, I highly recommend this townhome for anyone looking for a great place to unwind. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

Cons:

The couch and the oversized chair in the living room were the only comfortable pieces of furniture with a view of the lake, but they were worn out and broken down. As a result, sitting on them for evening TV or reading was not very comfortable. I mentioned this to the resort staff, and I hope they will update the furniture soon. Additionally, as a minor concern, having the maintenance man check the garbage cans directly outside the bedroom windows at 7:15 a.m. every day felt a bit excessive during our vacation.
