Beautiful location, farm fresh food, pleasant owners and employees, great location.

The family cabin we stayed in was perfect for us and had more than enough space for the five of us. The grounds themselves are beautifully landscaped. The staff is very friendly, informative, and helpful. Thank you Roy!

We had a wonderful stay. The optional breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. The kitchen was well-stocked, which we took advantage of by cooking our own meals. Reliable hot water in the showers was a definite plus.

There are some nice, short little trails on the property with beautiful flowers and foliage.

The infamous three-wattled bell bird was making it's loud calls in the morning, but I wasn't able to spot it. I should have brought binoculars!

The location is private, yet very close to town in Santa Elena, which has nice restaurants and shops. Easy access to all of the nature hikes, hanging bridges, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

The host Roy was so helpful and nice. The Family cabin was clean and had lots of beds. The standard cabin was smaller but nice as well. Do be aware that in some of the cabins the only bathroom is on the 2nd floor, up a steep stairs. This was fine for younger folks but was difficult for my older parents. We loved the grounds and trails, we saw so many birds, butterflies, and pretty flowers. It was a quite and safe area and a very good price.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately impressed by the property's beauty and felt right at home in our cabin. The cabin was remarkably spacious and immaculately clean, offering every amenity we needed. As a family-owned and operated complex, the property is expansive and boasts beautifully maintained lawns and a sunset lookout within walking distance. The property is a short drive from the town center. Roy communicated with us throughout our stay, providing helpful tips before and after our visit. Thanks to Roy, Nazareth, and family for making our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience in Monteverde!

Roy was very helpful when we arrived and the accommodations were perfect. I’m definitely planning on staying here again. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous.

We really like our stay. Roy was very helpful with any questions we had. The cabin was very clean. It was easy to cook in the kitchen.

Hotel de Cabañas Valle Campanas was a nice rustic place. The cabins were spread out nicely, with big private yards. We had breakfast brought to us each morning, freshly cooked and delivered by the family, to enjoy in our front yard with a very nice table. We had a balcony off our room with a sitting area and hammock hook up. There was a small walking trail and a trail to walk for the sunset. There was no a/c but we were very comfortable at all times of the day in March. Roy was the best! He was informative, friendly, professional, and one of the best host I’ve ever met. Before my trip, Roy provided me information for another area that had nothing to do with my stay with them. My husband and I enjoyed our visit and highly recommend Hotel de Cabañas Valle Campanas. This family is wonderful.

Individual Cabin that sits quietly on a beautiful property. Loved the sunset tower and trails around the property. Breakfast delivered to the room was wonderful.

Our family of 6 loved our stay at Hotel de Cabañas Valle Campanas. We stayed in the two story family cabin. Check-in was very informative and we were led directly to our cabin. The cabin had plenty of space. The grounds were quite beautiful. Our kids loved the dog. We drove a large SUV which made backing out of the parking space at our cabin a bit tricky. Another option for us would have been to park at main reception, a two minute walk away. We ordered the breakfast each morning which was fantastic, and a great start to our day. An added bonus that it was brought to our cabin. On our last evening, we walked to the lookout point to watch the sunset over the valley below, a truly unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here just before Christmas 2024 for two nights. What an amazing place! As well, the staff is so friendly, Roy is also very helpful and helped us book all of our activities. His communication over WhatsApp was excellent and prompt!

While on the property you must try their breakfast, it is an add on but worth it. They bring the breakfast right to your room, at the desired time, and put it on your kitchen table.

Place was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchens are well equipment to cook lunch or dinners if you desire.

While on the property you must check out the sunset! There is a viewing structure on the property to view it from.

This is a family owned, beautiful hotel with superb hospitality! Roy and his family has taken great care of the place and it truly feel special for us. Sunset was great. Roy also gave great recommendations on activities to do and local restaurants to try, everything was a hit, no miss. Their dog Draco is super friendly to welcome you everyday. We wish we could stay for longer~

The property is a great place for exploring the Monteverde area. The staff is great and helpful. The cabins are a bit dated and not a huge van of having the bathroom on the second floor and beds in your main living area on first floor. The driveway to the cabins is a one-way and can also get very muddy after raining close to the cabins. However, I would still strongly recommend the property because of the helpful staff, the location, and price.

It’s a very cute property, clean and neat. Reminded me of Switzerland cabins simple but cozy. One thing that really set this place apart for me is the unbelievable service. The responsiveness of the owners, the explanations about the area and the food recommendations were amazing. It truly felt like a family business taking care of their visitors. A million times thank you for everything.
