Newly refurbished and clean appearance
Breakfast booked was not available until 9am then in morning no breakfast available as hadn’t been booked. Large pot holes in car park entrance. No one to greet or hand keys in on exit, only available if you press a bell
Very clean and comfortable room. Well decorated and the staff here are very welcoming. Great place to stay for local work.
No other surrounding eateries or shop without having to drive.

There was a smell in the shower but a staff member rectified it quickly.
Location good.
Nobody on reception on arrival. Lots of baled up laundry filled one area. Issues with feeling harassed for payment two days before arrival. So much so we thought we were being scammed as did our bank. Only facility was the Indian restaurant which was opposite our door so room had curry smell. There was black mold starting to form in shower and pedal off the bin on floor. Minimal supplies of tea, coffee and milk and no cafe to get anything. At the end of the path to disability car park the edging stone has been knocked out so was a tripping hazard and difficult to negotiate with a rolator walking aid.
Grounds appeared shabby with debris in an area next to car park. Felt neglected. Declined breakfast as reviews weren't good. No menu in room either.
Very good Indian English breakfast, and good food available in the evening - nice restaurant and good waiter service.
Bad information about the location, which sent me in the wrong direction (walking), and in the end I had to be rescued by taxi.
Had a great 3 night stay here for work. The room was clean and tidy.
Very clean bedrooms with very comfortable beds and air conditioning.
Would have liked to be able to choose from the selection of cooked breakfasts .
The outside garden seating area not very clean and ashtray full.
Arrived at what looked liked a ramshackle old building, which
certainly didn’t look very inviting, at this point we were in two minds whether to stay there or not. We went into reception and there was a strong smell of cooking
(Curry). We were shown to our room which was small, dark
& dingy and again didn’t look very inviting.
At this point we decided not to stay.
We spoke to the man on reception to let him know we didn’t want
to stay and asked for a refund which he refused to do.
It was my partner’s birthday and I felt badly let down & also had problems trying to find somewhere else to stay that night.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Only stayed one night but very comfortable. Room slight on small side with a deluxe window but we only stayed 1 night
