Quite and great breakfast
Very good
The breakfast was good. It exceeded most hotel complimentary breakfasts. The location was great as it was central to all the Christmas shopping areas we planned to go to. The staff were very polite, welcoming and overall great. The room was very comfortable and clean.
I signed up for Bonvoy. The hotel had me spin a wheel to see how many points I would have added to my Bonvoy account. Those points never showed up on my accounts.
The bathroom had some spots on the wall - could have been a little cleaner.
Very satisfied
I liked the on-site freshly cooked breakfasts. The breakfast attendant paid frequent attention to what needed restocking so customers had hot and freshly prepared food ready to eat.
As a former restaurant dishwasher in high school, I loved how clean and organized the food preparation was when I took a look through an open door.
That made me feel like I could trust the food service and the integrity of the food.
The mattress slid around the bed frame whenever I touched the mattress and leaned into it in any way. It was disorienting. I did like that my feet/toes did not slam into anything if I got too close to the bed, but I never adjusted to the mattress moving whenever I touched it.
I wish hotels would stock Greek Yogurt with their breakfast selections. The active bacteria cultures in Greek Yogurt help my gut, while the Yoplait and other processed yogurts stocked here and at most other hotels offering breakfast service do not help my gut. Some of each kind would be a good offering to the public.
I stayed three nights. I wish I would have opted out of room service cleaning after the second night. I had been carefully managing towel usage to get through all three nights with minimal towel use, and room service cleaned out all my managed towels, so I used more than I planned to use.
The free internet service bogged down when numerous users were connected at the same time — and the hotel was at at-most-33-percent-full while it bogged down. Stop trying to make WiFi a cash cow. I do not like being charged extra for what is standard service where I am from.
I did not visit the beach mentioned in the question below — "One of the closest beaches was Quinn's Pond Beach – did you visit it?". My visit to Boise was in late December and it rained much of the time — most definitely NOT sunbathing or outdoor swimming weather . . . unless you are a Polar Bear or an Otter. And I don't mean "Butch Otter", the former Idaho governor. My weight is between that of an otter in nature and that of a polar bear; and I have lighter hair than I did twenty years ago; but I DO NOT eat raw meat after freshly killing it and leave blood all over the front of my body as I eat. I am much more human and civilized than that., and so it was too damned cold for me to want to visit a beach and maybe rainbathe and/or go swimming.
Everything
No cimplaints
Nice location, clean and nice staff.
No alarm clock in the room. I like to see a clock when waking up to see what time it is. Bed was a little hard.
It was OK
There was nothing I didn't like.
Breakfast was excellent. The food was fresh and not overcooked. It was one of the better breakfast bars I have experienced.
The mattress was very comfortable too.
Noise from the guest staying above me - which was not the fault of the hotel.
No complaints
Nice, clean place, large TVs, quiet, conveniently located
Clean room
