La Porte de Taksim

I had a great stay at La Porte de la Taksim in Istanbul. The location is fantastic — just a 3-minute walk to Taksim Square, which is full of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s also very close to the metro and bus stops, making it super easy to get around the city.

The hotel is clean, modern, and cozy. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they’re comfortable and well-equipped. Room service is scheduled once every three days, but the staff are happy to accommodate earlier requests if needed.

A special shout-out to Selman, Mehdi, Zekeriya, and Emre at the reception — they were all incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout the stay.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a central, convenient, and friendly place to stay in Istanbul.

The location is perfect for a 24-hour or 48 hour layover stay in Istanbul, especially as it is almost around the corner from the Hava-ist bus. The managers are very nice, and they've done a good job of giving the hotel a boutique-y look. It is walking distance to many reasonably priced restaurants. For the price, the bathroom is nicely appointed. My only complaints are that the bedsheets could be a touch softer, and the owners may want to post a list of recommended restaurants in the neighborhood that won't gouge tourists. Some of them are clearly tourist traps with very aggressive people trying to lure tourists in. As locals are dining there, I assume that those restaurants by the hotels have different prices for locals and tourists.

Otelden oldukça memnun kaldık.Otel odası tertemizdi ve resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar güleryüzlü ve yardımseverlerdi.Bir ihtiyacınız olduğunda hemen karşıladılar ve yardımcı oldular.Ses yalıtımı da güzeldi başka odaların sesini duymuyorsunuz.Dışarıdan çok ama çok az ses geliyor sabahları ama uyumanıza engel olacak düzeyde değil kesinlikle.Yatak rahat ve temizdi.

The receptionist his name was Mehdi. He was exceptional, courteous, professional, and went out of the way to help us out. He’s the reason the hotel is five star

Is closed by tourist area including the "red tram" The receptionists are helpful the room like the streets are narrow. Decent location for metro and bus

My son and I had a great visit to Turkey and really enjoyed staying at the La Porte de Taksim. Our room was perfect. Our room opened to a small hallway. There were two seperate rooms, each with its own locked door, each with its own queen bed, bathroom & shower. It was perfect for us. There was always a person at the front desk no matter what time of the day. It is in walking distance to Taksim square, the train station, the bus station and taxis. The staff was very friendly.

Otel konum olarak taksim meydanına yakın güzel yerde.Gayet sıcak ve ilgili bir karşılama vardı.Oda fotoğraftakiyle aynı oldukça temiz ve genişti.Sessizdi rahatsız olmadık.Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim .

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und sauber. Die mitarbeiter sehr nett und sehr bemüht.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The place was nice and clean but the room was cramped. We didn’t have space to eat in the rooms. If you’re okay with tight spaces, then you’ll be fine. It was a convenient location- walking distance from Taksim Square so that was helpful.

The staff are so helpful and professional. The rooms are clean. Taksim square is just around the corner, 100 metres where the metro is connecting to the rest of the city.

Its one of the best hotels to stay in with your family with a very reasonable price , I recommend it strongly !

The service in the hotel was really great. Everytime you came in the staff stud up and greeted you really friendly. The AC was great but sometimes the power was out for a few seconds. The Wlan for the floor did not really reach the end of the room but it was okay. The hotel has a really great rooftop where you can enjoy your street-purchased food with a great view over the city, especially on sunset.
All in all a really solid and nice hotel.

The hotel staff were wonderful! I was traveling with my adult son so we prefer separate rooms. This hotel had the perfect layout for us with affordable separate rooms (and bathrooms) connected by a short hallway. The beds were fantastic. I got sick and spent far more time sleeping and resting in bed than usual on vacation in such a fabulous city!!

Taksim meydana 100 mt, ara bir sokakta, ancak sokakta pek çok otel var, hareketli, o yüzden gece geç gelsem de sıkıntı olmadı. Odam üst katta ve arka tarafa baktığı için ses konusunda da herhangi bir sıkıntı olmadı. Odanın içi konforlu ve temizdi, beğendim. Fiyat/performans olarak bu civar için çok iyiydi bence. Bu bölgeye gelirsem tekrar tercih ederim, tavsiye ederim.
