The location.
The hotel itself and the room was really just pretty average. We had a room not facing the street which, because of the design and layout, is incredibly exposing with the curtains open - and needing to have the curtains closed the entire time feels a little dorm-esque.
Lovely spacious rooms, very clean, standard amenities, comfortable and large bed! The staff were helpful and polite. On our first night, we had just arrived from our flight but our bags didn’t, the staff were kind enough to give us extra dental and shaving kit. Additionally we happened to be in a room with no door to the bathroom/toilet. This was a bit odd, but when we asked the staff they immediately installed a curtain for privacy. The hotel was quiet in a beautiful, leafy neighbourhood. Enjoyed walking around. The park opposite is a nice little spot!
Nothing much, the room is a bit tired for the price but location, size and hospitality make up for it. The hotel breakfast is ok. One quirk is that we were in a room where the bathroom didn’t have a door - while this was addressed by a curtain being put up upon asking, we’d hope that they’d install a door.

Breakfast was delicious but selection was a little limited when staying for more than a couple of nights (or if you don’t want eggs).
Shame the rooftop terrace is only open for breakfast - would be a great spot of a drink in the evening

The hotel is in a great neighborhood with a wonderful coffee shop downstairs. My room was clean, spacious, but lacked design style (no art), which was surprising for the area.
Overall, I had a good stay at Hotel Luca.
