The staff were helpful.

Cons:

The pictures on the website were almost like a scam, for it didn't show the real location of the hotel. The corridors were dirty all the time. When we took our room, it wasn't clean. Some mornings, we had to wait for more than 25 minutes to get a table for breakfast. The breakfast was very minimal, not a lot of options, and no international breakfast in an international hotel.

Do not book this Hotel

We had booked a stay at Fairfield by Marriott Goa from 6th June 2026 to 8th June 2026 through MakeMyTrip (Booking ID: NH96238489124468). We had specifically booked and fully paid for a Pool View Room with Balcony.

Upon arriving at the hotel around 3:30 PM, we were asked to wait. After nearly 30 minutes, the check-in process finally began but took an unusually long time. During the process, we were asked whether we planned to go out and return later. When we said no, we were informed that our booked room was unavailable and were temporarily allocated a room without a balcony, with a promise that we would be shifted later.

We eventually checked in around 4:30 PM and were asked to shift again around 5:30 PM to another room. However, the room provided had a wall-facing view rather than the pool view we had paid for. When we raised this issue, the staff insisted that it was a pool-view room. I have attached photographs of the actual view from the room.

After further complaints, we were asked to adjust for one night. The next day, we were shifted yet again to a different room. Over a two-night stay, we had to pack and unpack our luggage three times, which was highly inconvenient and unacceptable.

The restaurant experience was equally disappointing. The breakfast service was poorly managed, with long waiting times just to get a table. Basic table essentials such as cutlery and salt were missing, with only pepper available on the table. Even the food quality and portions were below expectations. For example, the masala dosa served was unusually small, and I have attached photographs for reference.

Another inconvenience was that room dining bills had to be settled immediately rather than being added to the room account for settlement during checkout, which is uncommon for a hotel of this category.

As a Marriott Bonvoy member, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have encountered. Additionally, the hotel is located approximately 1.5 km away from Calangute's main area, making access to shops, restaurants, and taxis less convenient than expected.

Overall, the stay fell far short of the standards associated with the Marriott brand, and I would not recommend this property based on my experience.
