Exceptional Hospitality & A Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Absolutely loved the property! The ambience was beautiful, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The service, hospitality and attention to detail were excellent. Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally from start to finish. The entire staff was courteous, well-behaved, and highly professional, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

A special thanks to **Nikita**, who went above and beyond to make our celebration memorable. She beautifully decorated our room, and when we returned from a stroll nearby, we were pleasantly surprised to find a delicious birthday cake waiting for us. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our day even more special.

The only minor area for improvement was the communication regarding our reservation. We had requested an airport pick-up and mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, but the hotel's response came only after we had already checked in. Better coordination on such special requests before arrival would make the guest experience even more seamless.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we truly appreciate the warm hospitality and exceptional service. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to others.

Pros:

The breakfast was really great and the spread was amazing. All staff provided an excellent service and everyone were really friendly and willing to assist with anything we needed. A special thank you to Vachasprati who waited on us most of the time during our stay. Also excellent servioce provided by Nilesh, Pooja, Suhani, Vikash, Tilu, Ajit, Kimma, Sadasiva and Yogesh. The check-in was also first class and a special thank you to Mohit for making us feel so welcome and for going out his way to accommodate us in similar rooms.

Cons:

Honestly, there is really nothing that we can complain about. The only issue that we had was some guests making quite a loud noise on the one night. They did however keep quiet after we asked them to.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

My Stay at the Fairfield By Marriott Goa was truly pleasant.The entire staff was extremely supportive and made my stay comfortable and memorable.
I would especially like to mention Aditya , who was genuinely caring, attentive and always ready to help. His excellent hospitality made my experience even more enjoyable.
I am very satisfied with the staff and would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Pros:

The kindness of Mahabali and Steven were the only saving grace for me and my friends. Tbe rest of the team right from the reception staff to the servers were very bad, We serious didn't expect this bad a service from Mariott. The food too was way average. We booked Marriott Fairfield thinking it would be on par with Moxy in Bangalore but were really disappointed.

Lack of professionalism from assistant front office manager
Pros:

Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott Goa Calangute had both positives and a very disappointing experience.

The rooms were small but comfortable, the property was well maintained, and most of the staff we interacted with during our stay were courteous.

However, just before checking out, we discovered that our credit card had been charged multiple times without our authorization, resulting in duplicate charges for our stay. We immediately brought the issue to the attention of the hotel staff, and the Assistant Front Office Manager acknowledged that the additional charges were due to a "system glitch" and assured us that the excess amount would be refunded. While we appreciated the acknowledgement, we expected the issue to be resolved promptly.

Unfortunately, despite this assurance, there was no follow-up. Over the next several days, my repeated calls to the Assistant Front Office Manager went unanswered. Even after contacting the hotel reception multiple times and requesting that my call be transferred or that I receive a callback, I did not receive any response or update from the hotel.

Another concern was that the invoices issued to us contained incorrect room numbers, and the confirmation numbers on the invoices did not match our original booking confirmation emails. Naturally, this raised questions about how our reservation and payment details had been handled.

The issue was addressed only after I escalated the matter to Marriott Customer Care, who initiated an investigation. While the refund process has now been initiated, the experience of having unauthorized charges on a credit card, followed by a lack of communication from the hotel during such a serious issue, caused unnecessary stress and significantly affected our confidence.

While I appreciate Marriott Corporate for investigating and resolving the matter, I expected much better communication, accountability, and ownership from the hotel management, especially considering the seriousness of the issue.

I sincerely hope the hotel strengthens its billing controls and customer service processes so that no other guest has to go through a similar experience.
