Aussergewöhnliche Gestaltung des Hauses und der Räume. Hohe Decke, alte Holzbalken mit Kronleuchter. Zimmer geräumig. Im Gang hatte es einen Schrank mit weiteren Decken, Tüchern, Tee, Periodenartikel etc. Generell ist das Konzept sehr durchdacht. Personal sehr ausmerksam. Frühstück aussergewöhnlich. Kein Parkieren bei der Unterkunft möglich, jedoch Langzeitparkplätze 3 Minuten entfernt. Da das Hotel Partner ist von "Dartmoor Partner", welcher Wanderrouten und Ausflüge mit Restaurants anbietet, kann auf diese Informationen kostenlos zugegriffen werden.

We love this place, it's food, ambience and ethos are wonderful. The beds are cosy, the fiid delicious, the staff lovely.
We stay here numerous times to see family, and love it, but have experienced the same problem twice. We book a room advertised as 'twin or double' but have to contact the hotel to confirm twin, and it's been difficult. More clarity about how to request twin during booking would be greatly appreciated.

My only complaint is parking. It’s a bit tricky.

Fabulous stay at The Bull, beautiful bedroom and lovely friendly staff. The food for our evening meal and breakfast was outstanding. Great choice of dishes and everything we tried was cooked superbly. The waiting staff were also very helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the pub. Would definitely stay again.

The food was exceptional, a great choice of menu with so much thought put into it. All the staff were very approachable and knowledgeable and we felt nothing was too much trouble. We were served a lovely meal after being delayed on our return from a day out. Having been told service finished at 2015 the manager ensured we had fresh food prepared by 2100.
I don’t have any negative comments
The location is excellent, and it was very handy being right opposite the pub - meals (and drinks) there were delicious! The apartment is quirkily furnished, the kitchen well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to be able to sit out on the terrace too. Highly recommended!
The bedrooms facing the front did get very hot in this weather, even with the curtains drawn, so some fans would have been welcome. I had the back bedroom which was relatively cool, although I hadn't thought of that when I chose that room - I just liked the look of the chaise-longue!
The dinner was amazing, we ordered lots of plates which we shared between 4 of us. Excellent use of a wide variety of ingredients, heavy on the veg which I loved.
The breakfast was a little odd in the ordering, so I think you had to choose 1 big and 2 little, or 3 little, something like that. I would have prefered a bit more flex.
Have been planning to visit for a while & The Bull exceeded expectations. Food, staff, bedlinen, decor and eco-friendly ethos all contributed to a wonderful stay.
We messed up on the parking app code and ended up with a parking ticket! Not a fault of The Bull but do be careful.
