The ethical consideration that was throughout the place, combined with lovely aesthetic sensibility created a very special atmosphere.
Comfy bed, not disturbed by pub noise downstairs or being on high street. Quirky interesting old building.
The single room was gorgeous and didnt feel like a broom cupboard like some can. Nice choice of breakfast, including vegan options.
I looked into booking a double room for another trip - very high prices!
Lovely food, staff and energy, ohm shanti shanti :)
We liked the character of The Bull, the wooden furniture and decor in keeping with the historic building. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food great and the environmental and social justice ethos very important. Thank you!
Nothing
Most everything. I knew beforehand what the Bull offered and it fulfilled this extremely well. Food, staff, attention to sustainable trading; all wonderful
The only thing I would likely have a bit of an issue with is the location of outside tables under the window of the room. As the evenings get longer and warmer, the needs of the drinkers (of which I am a happy member) would probably clash with my needs as a peace and quiet snooker (also a happy member). Probs better to get a room at the back if p and q is your thing.
My single ensuite room. It was comfortable and pleasantly quaint, with a charming 1950s feel that reminded me of visiting my grandparents when I was small—and I’m sixty‑five now! It is also great to be able to save a few pounds by staying in a single room.
The breakfast was top‑notch, with an excellent range of options..
Very minor: there was not tray or shelf in the shower to put soap etc on. Other than that the shower was excellent.
Gorgeous decor, great location & excellent food and service
Great location just lots of loud noise. Single glazed window allowed too much noise from pub in.
No lock on toilet door! No door bell or door knocker, cutlery not great. Needs updating lots no lock on inside door to lock it at night to feel safe.
Really stylish place, with great food, drink and staff. Really comfortable bedroom with a lovely bathroom.
Nothing.
Breakfast exceptional. Very convivial environment. Wonderful friendly and efficient staff.
My bedroom outlook was not great. Plus I would not have liked to escape out of the window if there was a fire!
Spacious, clean, comfortable. All mod cons.
Nowt.
Very good breakfast and dinner
We didn’t like the organic wine
