The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was very good indeed. Had a coffee machine with only one pod of decaf for the two of us. We don’t drink decaf. No milk either. Having checked in at 1.00 am, it was irritating to find this in the morning. Two pieces of furniture were badly chipped.
For the price- could do better.

Breakfast was laid out beautifully. I have stayed at the Marriott Belena resort previously and the food there was kept much warmer. Everything here was cold. Would appreciate ability to order fresh eggs.
Floor in room was dirty. Could be cleaner. Bugs all over terrace. Shd be swept before entry or provide a broom in the closet.

It was absolutely beautiful! And it was all decorated for Christmas so that was lovely! The entire staff was cordial and accommodating, and always possible! I felt very at home. The food was absolutely delicious.! Stunning views of the mountains surrounding San Jose from the rooftop pool!
I am slightly disabled and use a walker. I wanted to swim in the swimming pool, but I needed help to get in the swimming pool because the railing started inside the swimming pool instead of outside of it and I couldn’t reach it It was awkward and difficult. If you could only change the railing so that it starts on the outside deck of the pool it would be perfect.!!!
The front desk staff was a pleasure upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. The lavender provided at bedtime was a very thoughtful and enjoyable touch.
The service at the bar was very poor. While it was Christmas Eve and I tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt, the experience was disappointing. The staff was unfriendly, and we waited over an hour for our dessert, having to check on it three separate times. When the dessert was finally delivered, it tipped over and the fruit spilled onto the table, yet no replacement was offered.
Throughout the evening, we were never checked on and repeatedly had to flag down the server, who often appeared to be standing idle. Toward the end of the night, a manager was nearby and could clearly see our frustration but never acknowledged us or addressed the situation.
