I had an excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and fast, and they made me feel comfortable immediately 😊
The room was very clean, modern, and spacious with a beautiful view. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all facilities worked perfectly. Housekeeping did a great job every day.
I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar area — the atmosphere was amazing and relaxing. The restaurant food was delicious with many good options, and the service was outstanding.
The location is also very convenient, close to important places and easy to travel around.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay. I will definitely come back again! 🌟
Hotel Granbell is absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t quite believe what we were getting for the price! The rooms are lovely, we had a stunning sea-view, and the bathrooms are amazing (jacuzzi + waterfall shower + fancy toilets!). The rooftop bar and pool is a highlight, with delicious cocktails and amazing sunset views over the Indian Ocean.
There is a buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Sri Lankan food and desserts were particularly good options, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. One waiter, Ranil, took incredibly good care of us, welcoming us each time we arrived and getting my parents filter coffee from the cafe on the 1st floor (which was their preference!).
For anyone looking for a high-end place to stay in Colombo, or perhaps someone who has gone backpacking and would like some creature comforts for one night - book the Granbell hotel, it is 100% worth it.

The rooms are really spacious and classy. Worth the money!
The property is located right in front of the sea. If you get the right room, the view is beautiful. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are well-maintained and beautiful, and so is the bar. The timings for the bar and the swimming pool is also until late which makes the stay better. Everything was clean and hygienic. The staff is well-trained and polite. It ir gith next to a good South indian cafe called A2B. Beach is also quite close.
The breakfast timings could be extend by 30 more minutes. They have a very hard stop at 10am.
