Pros:

It was a lovely relaxed vibe.
Staff were very friendly.
Lady on the reception desk was really nice and had a lovely attitude.
The valet could not do more for you and was very considerate about where to place our vehicle which made things really easy for us.
The room had relaxing music and a lovely scent from the diffuser.
So relaxing.

Cons:

Nothing much to add.
Only feedback I could add was in the room there was a closet where the fridge and safe was.
There was no door or covering over it. So upon entering the room it seemed odd and made the room seem slightly untidy.
I think I would have either made this area more pleasing to see.
A very minor thing being honest.

Pros:

Everything, but especially the environment. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There were two lobbies, a beautiful open air atrium and a deck on the top floor to enjoy the ocean.

Stay was great, the beach was amazing and the place is quiet and comfortable.
Pros:

Location was great and the quietness as well as the amenities.

Cons:

I did not like they had portable A/C units. They didn't cool the rooms down well and they were loud.

Loved using the sister hotel location at sunset with its nooks and crannies to hang out.

Pros:

It was in a good location and I liked being able to access the private beach from their other location.

Cons:

I didn’t like having the shared atrium with ground floor windows. It felt like we had no privacy. And when they turned on the lights in the atrium (around 11pm) it lit up our room. There was trash left in our room from someone previous and there was a light fixture hanging out of the wall in our shower exposing wires right next to the shower head.

Surf vibe hotel in the heart of Laguna Beach
Pros:

Alex and Tyson were beyond accommodating and customer service driven. They made our stay enjoyable. Location is perfect, beach front and cool surf, casual vibe. Definitely will return!

Pretty good hotel. Nice location.
Pros:

We booked at Seven4One but they bumped us to their sister property Laguna Surf Lodge, so this is a review of that property. Great location. Right on the beach. About a 10 min walk to center of Laguna Beach. Room view was amazing. Heat was good and super quiet. Bed was good. Staff was mostly very friendly. Very close to The Taco Stand (casual Mexican restaurant) which was amazing. Nice hot tub.

Cons:

There was a slight musty smell in the room. There is a sign near the front office that says “restroom” with an arrow pointing to the right. The restroom is actually to the left. The staff poked slight fun at us for having difficulty finding the restroom, despite this inaccurate signage. Fireplace in room was out of order. Furniture in the room was slightly awkwardly placed. Nice pool but not heated so unusable in January.

We had grate day of relaxation in Laguna beach, and the hotel had a big part of it.
Pros:

The staff is kind and helpful.
The location is great.
The shower is great
The shared space atmosphere is welcoming and homey

Cons:

The air conditioner in the room, didn't work.
The rooms are not big.
