Great amenities. The location was unbeatable
Room size was a little small
Alex and Tyson were beyond accommodating and customer service driven. They made our stay enjoyable. Location is perfect, beach front and cool surf, casual vibe. Definitely will return!
NOTHING
We booked at Seven4One but they bumped us to their sister property Laguna Surf Lodge, so this is a review of that property. Great location. Right on the beach. About a 10 min walk to center of Laguna Beach. Room view was amazing. Heat was good and super quiet. Bed was good. Staff was mostly very friendly. Very close to The Taco Stand (casual Mexican restaurant) which was amazing. Nice hot tub.
There was a slight musty smell in the room. There is a sign near the front office that says “restroom” with an arrow pointing to the right. The restroom is actually to the left. The staff poked slight fun at us for having difficulty finding the restroom, despite this inaccurate signage. Fireplace in room was out of order. Furniture in the room was slightly awkwardly placed. Nice pool but not heated so unusable in January.

No breakfast. No food. Location is great, nice beach access chairs and umbrella.
Room was to be quiet but there was music playing outside out door in the atrium all the time, even early morning. Towels were threadbare. Ice machine in our building didn’t work so we have to go to main building each time.
Location was topnotch. We walked everywhere. Staff were very friendly.
The A/C unit in our room wasn't working, so we had a portable unit with the window open for the exhaust/ hot air from the unit to escape. We were only there for one night so it was fine, but it was pretty noisy.

This hotel is top notch. Great location to walk the town. Rooms are very well done and the staff is so friendly. I think for the price this is the best place to stay in Laguna.
This place is amazing . I went for my birthday celebration. Restaurants are so close. The place is so peaceful. I love it.
Our original room at 741 was just awful. The desk clerk was surly. We did arrive early and were told that the room was cleaned but needed inspection. She said we would be texted. That never happened. We checked back at 3:30 and were allowed in the room. Room 104 was tiny and the bathroom was the style you would find at a cheap hotel. At about 4:30 I went to the the desk clerk - different person and requested that we be moved. This person was very accommodating and moved us to a larger ocean view room Although the new room was not updated, it was better.
The staff was exceptional! Whatever we needed they provided.
Amazing place to stay.
Beautiful room and grounds including lobby, library, deck and courtyard. Just up the block from the Orange Inn for excellent breakfasts and The Taco Stand for some outstanding tacos. Also, the stairs down to the beach are just out the back door and a few steps away. We had a wonderful time!
