The service and location.
Food and service. Bobby was wonderful about restaurant recommendations and super knowledgeable. He went above and beyond with returning a credit card our son left in the restaurant. The bartender in the pool bar was amazing!
Love everything about this hotel! It was clean, comfortable, and great vicinity. The staff was awesome especially Bob!

AC broke in one of the two gulf view rooms I reserved so I had to take a none gulf view room
Era nuestra 1era vez en PCB. El hotel al estar en linea de playa es MUY movido para nuestro gusto. No cuenta con estacionamiento propio por lo que debes dejar el auto en un parking frente al hotel pagando 20$ por día que NO estan incluidos en la tarifa, así como tampoco las sillas de playa que se alquilan en el lugar por $60 el día. El desayuno no es malo pero es bastante básico: cereal, huevos, panes, salchichas o bacon. Hace falta una opción para niños tipo waffles o pancakes que no hubo nunca. La habitación es amplia y limpia. Si bien no hicieron limpieza ni cambiaron sábanas, dejaron en nuestra puerta toallas limpias (al viajar con nuestra mascota entiendo que no entran a hacer la habitación). La piscina y salida la playa son una gran ventaja. Los precios del bar de la piscina son altos desde mi punto de vista. Por la playa o la calle caminas unos 8 minutos y llegas al Pier Park con variedad de tiendas y restaurantes y a solo un par de minutos está walmart, target y decenas de tiendas y cadenas de comida.También esta muy cerca la playa para perros. No es un mal hotel pero creo que podría mejorar.
Very Disappointing Vacation Experience
Unfortunately, this stay at the Hyatt was not at all what I expected and made for a very undesirable vacation.
The lobby was extremely small and nothing like what I imagined from the pictures online. The windows were also extremely dirty, which made the view feel nothing like what was advertised.
The breakfast was one of the biggest disappointments. The scrambled eggs were extremely wet, there was only one meat option, and if you don’t eat pork, you were simply out of luck. What I found especially disturbing was the number of flies all over the food. There were no barriers or protection around the food, which I found both disgusting and concerning.
The parking situation was also horrible. Having to pay to park across the street and then cross the street with all of your luggage and belongings is extremely inconvenient. If you have a larger truck or van, you’re forced to park in an uncovered area, which is another inconvenience.
The beach chair rental through a third party is another issue. At $60 a day, it is an absolute rip-off. The way it is presented online makes it appear as though the beach chair service is part of the hotel, which I found misleading.
The food at the bar was also very subpar for the price. On the positive side, the bartender was amazing, the drinks were good, and the pool was great.
The gym—or lack thereof—could also use a major upgrade. There simply wasn’t enough equipment.
Overall, there were some positives, but for the price and the expectations set by the pictures and online presentation, this stay was extremely disappointing. I expected a much better experience from Hyatt.
