Very nice, and comfortable but the transportation services In bayeaux is poor but after mentioning this they made sure they helped and corrected our problem with” taxis”

A beautiful and quiet escape in a picturesque chateau. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is superb and plentiful. If we ever return to this area we will definitely stay here.

Het was een prachtige hotel en zeker 4 sterren waardig. Alles is perfect tot in de details. Zoals ze zeggen het is net thuiskomen. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prijs en kwaliteit zijn zeer goed. Diner was heerlijk en met normale prijs. Gewoon top en top. We komen zeker terug.

Our stay was better than we could have hoped for. The place is in a beautiful quiet setting outside of town. The facility and staff were amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna did not have time to get a massage but I’m sure it would have been great. We ate dinner there both nights and it was great! The room was great with a large shower/bathroom and lots of space! I can’t say enough how great the staff was and I would without a doubt recommend it to anyone.

Lovely hotel in great location with excellent facilities

Absolutely perfect place to stay! Close to Bayeux, the chateau is beautiful and very well-maintained, on a very large estate. Our room was beautifully decorated, quiet and dark with a very comfortable bed and top quality bed linens and comforter. The bathroom was brand new, gleaming, with generous amenities. The main building reception has freshly baked cookies, water with lemon and mint. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend

We had an incredible experience at the Chateau Saint-Gilles. The chateau was built in 1730 but has been completely renovated inside with all of the modern conveniences. Emerick, Anne-Sophie, Margot, and Barbara made sure everything was smooth. The grounds are stunning and the hotel is a perfect distance to all D-Day locations. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and a great way to start and/or end the day. We will definitely go back.

Not only was the Chateau the most well-appointed, up-to-date, beautiful place we've ever stayed, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend!!!

The location is outside of the town of Bayeux however with a car the serenity and privacy is a real plus. Would definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful Chateau on New Year's. The chateau extend beyond its picturesque setting. Just a 10-minute drive from Bayeux city center, the surroundings are peaceful. The staff is incredibly kind. Thus, the pool was closed during winter season, the outdoor sauna and jacuzzi add to the pleasant experience. The room, akin to a villa, boasts huge windows, a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped bathroom. The on-site restaurant served delicious dinner, and the breakfast spread was impressive. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I'm eager to return for a longer visit. It's a perfect place if you have a car and plan on going back and forth to the city center but the staff can arrange a taxi if needed.
