Had a really nice stay at Lavendish Country Resort. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful throughout. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Location is great too — just a 3-minute drive to the Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple and about 6 minutes to Dambulla town. Good value for money and a peaceful place to stay.

Camera pulita e confortevole.
Bagno mediocre in linea con gli standard locali, poco pulito.
Fajny basen, piękne otoczenie blisko natury, przestronne pokoje z wiatrakami.
Łazienka w niezbyt dobrym stanie, obsługa pomocna i uprzejma, ale często nie potrafiła pomóc, trzeba było szukać pracowników, w pokoju brak miejsca na ręczniki, wieszaków w szafie. W okolicy nie ma sklepu i w hotelu także nie można kupić np napojów.

Having a landline in the room to contact room service would be better, as noise from other rooms is noticeable.
Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war rundum gelungen. Toller Pool und gemütliche Zimmer. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen haben mir das leckere Frühstück und die angenehme Atmosphäre im Hotelareal - empfehlenswert!
Really nice and calm place
My second visit to this comfortable small hotel located closer to Dambulla center. As always staff members reached out to me as usual in advance and got them selves prepared for the late night arrival. I reached there around 0100 hrs and didnt have any places to dine, However manager was kind enough to arrange a sandwich for me even though the kitchen was closed.
it was amazing and we didn’t expect like that, staff was very friendly and supportive.it was a calm place ,we enjoyed very much.food was delicious and I happily saying that we spend a wonderful time

I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to any international visitors the room was in poor condition the photos are obviously old TV not working, no tea & coffee making facilities in the room as advertised then charge for having tea delivered to the room.in a 3 night stay the Room was not serviced once , no clean towels, no clean sheets, bathroom not cleaned Very poor.. not recommended consider staying at another hotel
