Great location. Welcoming front desk and quick check in. Good Wi-Fi. The bed was lumpy but sleepable.
Linens were rough… liked they had been dried outdoors.
Not a bad choice.

Privided only one set of towels for 2 persons. Clean room but needs repairs on many little things like clset door, TV remote control, electric curtain opener, etc. Unfriendly front desk male clerk/supervisor representing Indian culture?
They also charge for a local tourist map normally provided free by even 3-stars hotels!

This hotel was something of an oasis. It is modern, clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. There are a few things it can improve on - like a working tv, but by and large this is a very good hotel.

Breakfast, laundry, location, staff

We had a lovely stay at this hotel during our time in Dushanbe. The service was spot on; especially, the tea/coffee service area. The room was well appointed, bathroom was nice with a lovely shower. They provided 247 access to tea/water/coffee in the lobby which was appreciated. The lobby was quite large with plenty of areas to rest. There is a Turkish restaurant next door with other dining/shopping options nearby.

This one of the top hotels in Dushanbe by views of locals. Everything seems perfect except service. Their service was nullify all their efforts. I stayed there three nights and one or two days they didn't clean my room. They didn't changed the towels. I asked many times to change the towels but never changed. The room was comfy and clean bed sheets was perfect. Bathroom is very fresh and clean. The Breakfast was nice. The guy who makes omlet was perfectly did his job. In lobby 24 hours available tea/water/ coffee espresso machine and sweets also. Lobby was very nice and big light. I really liked the lobby. Pool was also very good.

We spent here two days with my family, few negligible issues but very happy with our stay, I will recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay especially that it’s relatively new. The free 5 item free laundry was a plus! Staff was very attentive and helpful. Snacks and coffee / juice were available in the hotel restaurant.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely generous and friendly, and there is a 24/7 coffee and snacks buffet in the lobby. No hotel I know does this, and it is a very generous gesture.

From the time we checked in the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and offers all the amenities you would want. The rooms are comfortable and large. The breakfast offers something for everyone, and coffee is available there all day long. We would recommend the Rumi Hotel to anyone visiting Dushanbe.

Beautiful property that is centrally located. Best amenity during my 2- night stay was the complimentary taxi shuttle service to and from the airport. [Pro tip - phone the hotel as the messaging service on Expedia does not work. ] But the experience fell a bit short of expectations given that this is regarded as within the top tier of Dushanbe hotels. For instance - housekeeping did not empty my garbage cans or provide the complimentary water (which was needed as temps neared 100°F). Bathroom amenities were sparse - just 1 bath towel & 1 bath mat & barebones soap and shampoo.

Some great things and some not so good.

The rooms are comfortable and reasonably well-appointed, with international multi-sockets (no need for an adapter) and USB sockets. There’s a mini-safe, a tea & coffee station and a small desk. The WiFi worked well, as did the a/c. I slept well, and the rates are not excessive by European standards.

My niggles started with breakfast (it was not great with no western / international options) and the lack of a bar or restaurant on-site. I’d expect a 4 star hotel to have these facilities.

Meanwhile, although staff were generally pleasant and helpful, they were at times extremely disorganised.

Most worryingly, our return booking after a trip out of town was overlooked, leaving us pleading with them to find rooms (eventually, after a stressful 20 minutes, they did).

Then, our pre-booked airport transfer left early without us, as we’d not been added to the list as promised. That left us having to find a taxi, which we did, but it could have been really problematic. Understandably this negative parting shot has coloured my perceptions of the Rumi.

As an experienced traveller of many years I have never come across a hotel providing free laundry (max 4 pieces daily) free drinks fruit & cakes in their foyer restaurant … all of the highest quality

We stayed at Rumi Hotel in Dushanbe during Nowruz, and overall, it was a beautiful place with a charming atmosphere. The room decorations were elegant, creating a cozy and comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, which was one of the highlights of our experience.

The hotel also offers complimentary tea and coffee with pastry and cakes, which leaves a great impression on travelers and adds to the hospitality. I also used the swimming pool, which was nice, though the water temperature felt a bit low for the season.

However, we did encounter a minor issue during our stay. When one of our friends used a cup for coffee instead of a glass, a staff member addressed the matter in a surprisingly loud and inappropriate manner, which was disappointing. Additionally, I lost the plastic cover of my suitcase, which was another small inconvenience.

For hotels that frequently host Iranian guests, I strongly recommend installing a water hose (bidet spray) next to the toilet, as this is a standard hygiene practice in Iran. Many Iranian travelers find it uncomfortable to rely solely on tissue, and providing this facility would significantly improve their experience.

Despite these minor setbacks, our stay at Rumi Hotel was enjoyable, and I would still recommend it for its beautiful ambiance, great breakfast, and overall hospitality.

The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. The shuttle service was very efficient and helpful, even my flight in Turkey was delayed and the shuttle driver Akhror was so kind waited for 2 hours me. Thank you.

The staff were helpful, though they do have very limited English understanding. The rooms were quite cramped, the housekeeping service was not upto the mark, they didn't clean the bathroom properly. the laundry was terrible. the food was okay okay. The lobby looks fancier than the rooms.

The property is located in a very beautiful locations. It has some dining options and also the Dushanbe shopping mall is very close, you can literally walk there.

High quality stay in a very modern and comfortable hotel on a downtown street with easy access to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and a shopping mall. Not too far away o foot from the Rudaki street and all the sights along it. Very good buffet breakfast included and also free coffee and cakes all day long. Free 5 items daily laundry, gym and indoor pool.

Lovely two night stay here, delighted to find that the hotel offered 5 pieces of laundry washed as part of your stay and also free coffee and snacks in the foyer at all times.

Breakfast was tasty although rather slow at setting up, we arrived at 7am and thought there wasn’t a huge selection however all this new food kept appearing.By the time we left at 7.30am. The buffet appeared fully set up. Otherwise, a good stay.m
