Excellent Inn - very clean and well maintained. Thomas and Barbara are excellent hosts. The dining experience us great with fresh home made food prepared every day. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very kind and welcoming staff who are always open to conversation. The food is very, very fresh, and well made by their chef Barbara. I went alone as a 24 year old woman and felt very safe, so I'd highly recommend! However make sure to rent a car or prepare to pay a lot of money for the taxi, as the property is far out and doesn't have access to Uber :)

We stayed at 45 Steps Inn for 6 nights for our honeymoon, and it was truly the sweetest time. From the moment we arrived, we felt so at home—thanks to the kind and thoughtful hospitality of Barbra, Thomas, the rest of the team, and of course, the sweet pups!

The view was stunning, the beach was peaceful and beautiful, and breakfast was such a treat each morning—fresh and delicious every time. One of our absolute favorite moments was enjoying one of Barbra’s three-course dinners. Every bite was amazing and made with such love and care!

We are already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for such a memorable and cozy stay—we loved it SOO so much! 💛

Waking up to a beautiful sea view in a property that met all expectations was one of the highlights of our trip to PEI. The service extended by the staff and owners was remarkable and personable. We highly recommend staying at 45steps.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Barbara and Thomas are excellent hosts. We only saw post check out that they had sent us notes prior to checkin. They’re very on top of things, gave us great recommendations and the place is absolutely beautiful.

What a lovely stay in PEI. The property itself is gorgeous and the inn keepers Barbara & Thomas make you feel right at home. We truly love Ed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a coastal stay on the island.

Beautiful property and hospitality. Barbara and Thomas made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us plenty local suggestions. Room was very clean and generously sized, comfortable bed and amazing views. Looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful beach and super friendly staff.

Wonderful two nights here exploring the area. Perfect room with beautiful sea view, the bed was the most comfortable ever, as were the pillows. Owner/chef Barbara very knowledgeable and helpful and a very well stocked library. Dinner and breakfast both delicious, home made jams and bread ,cheese and cold cuts for breakfast. A beautiful place to spend time!

The hosts, Barbara & Thomas are amazing! Barbara's passion for cooking is in all she prepares from the homemade breads and muffins to her wonderful 3 course dinners! We would recommend you stay here!

This is a unique wonderful place. It feels a bit European but very much PEI. The location is magical. The accommodations 5 star and the hosts of the Inn are exceptional at what they do. Do not miss the dinner service! It is a place to reset and enjoy the finest of what PEI has to offer.

Amazing location for views of the sea. Hosts do anything to make the stay more comfortable and were amazing with the kids getting breakfast setup, providing a nighttime book and generally interacting with them. Super clean and very welcoming and luxurious!

Everything I hoped for and more! Luxury, cleanliness, and view-45 Steps checks every box. Barbra and Thomas are the the perfect hosts. Our room was spacious, luxurious, modern and extremely clean. Our view was spectacular.
The meals here are 5 star. You don't want to miss this place, it's a destination by itself.

What fantastic experience. The Inn is a destination in itself. Be sure to check out their website to see pictures of this phenomenal property. It's similar to a Bed & Breakfast, but much better. A huge, very contemporary, but warm ocean-front home - with separate hotel rooms. You can stay in your very new & clean room - and then avail yourself to the amenities of the main house Inn. There is a fireplace, library, and living room all over-looking the ocean. However, what brings this facility to life are the host & hostess / owners of the Inn. Barbara & Thomas - both European - are dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is included with your stay. And, if you like, Barbara will prepare dinner for you - at the time you wish. She is a professionally trained chef and her dinners are superb. They are great hosts - we were hugging and almost crying when we left - like leaving family or good friends. Highly recommend this Inn.
