Excellent location and value for money.
Pros:

The hotel was good value for money, the rooms were large, quiet and exceptionally clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the 24 hour bar was a real bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Cons:

The hotel building is quite old and in places looks a little tired and in need of decoration (there was a large damp patch in our bathroom).

A lovely hotel, simple and clean
Pros:

It was immaculate. Such a lovely surprise to find an historic hotel right in the middle of town. I loved the pine trees in the garden. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent staff. Great to have a bar and pool table!

Cons:

Nescafé sachets in the rooms are just awful. I love a morning coffee but wouldn’t drink that.
No hairdryer in the room, and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work, despite me being shown the switch, then putting into ‘on’.
The bed was quite short, which I wasn’t expecting. The mattress isn’t flat, and sagged on the right hand side of the bed. (Rm 29)

Excellent hotel. Well worth a visit
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the time we arrived until we checked out. We'd requested a quiet room, which it was. Clean, comfortable with modern facilities and a lovely bathroom. The reception and bar were available 24hours. Lovely breakfast.
Five minutes walk to Bournemouth Pavilion.
I'd thoroughly recommend a stay at The Grove. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be making a return visit.

Great location, only a 5-8 minute walk to the seafront, shops and park. Spotlessly clean rooms. Lovely atmosphere of a family run hotel, very friendly and hospitable.
