I went to check in , and i contacted the owners of the property so they can help me check in but i got a text that my booking was canceled
They waited for me to go at the property and telle thats its canceled without any explanation
They told me they will issue a refund but never got my money back , booked the place for 2 days !

I booked a room at the hungerford and they waited until I got to the property and was calling them and sending them emails to tell me they would have to cancel my reservation due to boiler issues. I was very mad because this should have been done ahead of time . I'm just waiting to get my money back.
Room wasn’t ready and wasn’t allowed to stay can’t get in touch with anyone and the phone number or email address doesn’t work still haven’t received a refund and it’s been a month

I booked this property some weeks before staying. I sent them a message on the day I was staying asking about how to check in later that day. They responded an hour later saying they could not honour my booking and had apparently let booking.com know THE DAY BEFORE. When I contacted booking.com they did not know about this. I had to find alternative accommodation and it was highly stressful as I thought I was left stranded. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is terrible service and they should not be allowed to operate doing things like that. Why would they only realise THE DAY BEFORE that they cannot accommodate my booking??? And why would they not contact me to let me know??? It looks like they didn’t even contact booking.com. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

It looks like the photos. It is small. Very clean, okay fridge space if you're there for three/four days. Access to Netflix. The bed was comfortable and I was warm. The room genuinely was like a small bedroom.
Getting the code was irritating. I called several, when I say several, I mean several times to get it. Eventually my boyfriend called and someone picked up. It sent me into a panic that I was being scammed. Not only did I only get the code 3 hours after check in, but it took so much effort to get the code. From there, everything was fine. The room is small but the spacing is good and functional. The sink is too small and so is the shower. The shower head is nice and easy to use though. I think 45GBP is a bit much without breakfast. I would quicker say this is 25GBP. That's just me. I would go again because it's convenient and well kept.
I paid and booked this property but couldn't check in on getting to the property because there was no one to attend to me . I was waiting with my toddler more than an hour .had to leave to find travelodge hotel to book . I wasn't going to sleep outside and be stranded with my child .
Called the provided numbers one was invalid the other was goingbto voice note . I sent message but got no response. Absolute fraud.

Nicely fitted out room . Plus own shower and toilet . Modern furniture .easy walking distance to train station .
The tv didn't work and I rang for help 2 mobile numbers left voice messages no reply to either. The kitchen was messy and smelt
