voco Dubai the Palm by IHG

This is a lovely hotel and area. The staff at front desk, breakfast, cleaning floor staff in bedrooms and beach staff were absolutely brilliant (Biden & Sajith on the beach were particularly attentive to all my family needs!) only issue was it’s extremely loud from the beach at night. The sound needs to be turned off or down earlier than 2am. Maybe this suits younger couples😉

We are moving to Dubai soon in February and are staying here at Voco for 8 days while we organise things over the New YearI just want to say the thing that makes this hotel are the people who work here. Every person that we have interacted with has provided 1st class service.
The restaurant staff Shifa, Rashmi, Sharjeel all so attentive and fantastic with our food allergies. My daughter is allergic to peanuts and I am allergic to sesame and they have taken such good care of us, explaining what is safe to eat - this has been the best allergy treatment we’ve ever experienced. Even the room service we ordered, someone personally phoned us after our order to explain that our order was safe and the allergens were not present.
The food was delicious also by the way!!!
The receptionist who checked us in, the doorman who took up all our bags, and the lovely man who brought up a z-bed for our daughter - all of these people with a smile and lovely attitude. The concierge outside helping me when I was lost as well.
The bedroom had a great view of the ocean, fresh water, clean white fresh linen sheets - it was super.
The location is right in the middle of west beach - vibrant, lively, so much is here.
The pool is on the roof top with amazing views, lots of sunbeds, same with the beach, they have sunbeds there as well.
The lifeguards are such gentlemen taking you to the sunbeds and preparing the towels for you with a smile as well.
The WiFi worked perfectly which was exactly what we needed for our devices and laptops.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Dubai - it is outstanding. We will ensure to become frequent visitors of the restaurant and bar once we move to Dubai as the service was so excellent.

The hotel has really great and convenient location. We had really great breakfast in their buffet area. Chef Virgilio is the best!

All the staffs in this hotel are very friendly.

We ate in Maison Mathis in Voco.
The food was amazing and the ambience is very nice especially the Christmas decors.

Very nice hotel, top location directly on the beach. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The dinner was also of very good quality. The rooms were very nice and sufficiently large. Due to the nearby monorail, you are also very flexible with public transport.
However, the highlight is the staff. The employees are very friendly, courteous and helpful, even though some hotel guests often don't deserve it. That's why I would like to highlight a few of them. At reception were Glenys and Hazem, absolutely great. Surendra helped us with our suitcases and was very friendly. At the bar, we had a lot of fun with Aziz, Ken, Sen and Mandip. Roni Samiullah was very helpful at the beach and pool and we had nice conversations. Representing the very friendly, fast and diligent restaurant team, I would like to mention Runa and Ivy, who always found nice words despite the stress. Unfortunately, in our observation, the staff is very little appreciated; it is worth talking to the employees.
If we come back to Dubai again, it will definitely be Voco The Palm.
