Na przeciwko hotelu ściana roślinności, dżungla. W pobliżu pola ryżowe, a pomiędzy nimi restauracja, gdzie serwują bardzo dobre jedzenie i można zapłacić kartą. Zresztą restauracji w pobliżu jest więcej. W hotelu cisza i spokój.To zupełnie inne miejsce, niż hotele przy plaży. Idealne na lenistwo i nicnierobienie, a brak plaży nie ma znaczenia. Nasz pokój był bardzo duży z własnym małym basenem. Przemiły personel. Śniadania serwowane do stołu a'la carte. Zmieniłabym to na szwedzki stół i dodała nieco większy wybór. W hotelu też jest restauracja, ale nie byliśmy w niej na kolacji. Szkoda, że spędziłam tam tylko 2 noce. Jeszcze kiedyś tam wrócę. Na dłużej. Hotel tylko 60 km od lotniska, ale jedzie się tam strasznie długo, bo na Bali jest ogromny ruch, nawet nocą.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderschönes Hotel mit kleinen Abstrichen bei der Ruhe
Pros:

Eines der besten Hotels, in denen ich bisher war. Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist wunderschön und gleichzeitig ist das Zentrum von Ubud über den Ridge Walk zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gestaltet, der Infinity-Pool und das Spa sind großartig. Besonders begeistert hat mich die Badewanne auf dem Balkon, darin zu liegen und dabei die Geräusche des Dschungels zu hören, war wirklich etwas Besonderes.
Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant waren sehr gut. Besonders angenehm fand ich, dass das Hotel trotz seiner Größe nie überlaufen wirkte, am Pool war immer Platz und auch im Restaurant musste man nicht um einen Platz kämpfen. Dadurch war der Aufenthalt sehr entspannt und komfortabel. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und aufmerksam.
Ich habe außerdem einen privaten Guide über das Hotel gebucht, was ebenfalls sehr gut organisiert war. Mein Guide hat mir viel Interessantes über Ubud und die Umgebung erzählt.

Cons:

Eigentlich gibt es wenig zu kritisieren. Für mich würde das Hotel allerdings perfekt als Adults-Only-Hotel funktionieren. Die ruhige Atmosphäre und das gesamte Konzept laden sehr zur Entspannung ein, allerdings haben die anwesenden Familien mit Kindern diese Ruhe teilweise deutlich gestört. Als Adults-Only-Hotel wäre Kastara für mich nahezu perfekt.

Début de lune de miel parfait.
Pros:

À part l’emplacement tout était parfait. La chambre était splendide, grande et propre. Le personnel est à l’écoute. Le petit-déjeuner et le dîner était bon. Franchement c’était un super séjour.

Incredible staff and quite a lovely hotel for the price
Pros:

The customer service here was absolutely second to none. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Nothing was an issue or too much to ask. Very relaxing hotel. Not enough sun to really make the pool super enjoyable but you can’t change or control that.

Cons:

The rooms smell bad. I believe there is probably a mould issue that needs to be addressed. The try to cover it with a deodoriser which I asked them to please not spray as for me it’s more offensive then what ever they are trying to cover. I noticed that Turing the toilet fan on actually made bad smells worse so I made sure to leave it off and then it was manageable.

Paradijs!
Pros:

Geweldige locatie! Een echt paradijs. Prachtig zwembad met een heel mooi uitzicht, heel vriendelijk personeel, ontspannende massages, uitgebreid ontbijt en in het restaurant hebben we ook heerlijk 's avonds gegeten.

Pros:

El mejor hotel en el que hemos estado. Decorado con un gusto increíble, vistas espectaculares a la selva desde la habitación y la piscina y personal super agradable. El desayuno rico y a ubundante y nos gustó también mucho la zona donde está ubicado. Repetiria sin duda.
