Excellent location, price was good, staff were excellent, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very nice, comfy and even though next to a stadium and major road it was quiet. Food in the restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was the best Ive had in a hotel for years, lots of choice and all very tasty.
This is our fourth or fifth stay as we are rugby fans and everything about this hotel is great 😊 Location,comfort,staff and cleanliness is excellent 👌 (we have more stays planned) 😃
Room was clean, tody & spacious. Bathroom was spacious shower was good & hot.
Bar & Restaurant food was excellent.
Parking at this location is awkward and difficult to find. Despite phoning 2 days before our stay, onsite parking wasn’t available.
At the Nearby recommended parking place, Crumbly, we had to to leave parking by 9am next morning. This is very inconvenient as alternative parking had to be found early next morning.
It was excellently sited to visit our son at Leicester Uni without having to move car. Hotel was very clean and bedroom was large and had excellent facilities
Car parking charge was a but steep. Was annoyed they didn't have diet coke/Pepsi on tap as had to pay more for a bottle
The location and the breakfast staff service
The rooms, toilets , basin was clogged the blinds were frayed , no water in the room the room was not serviced, the reception was near frustrating, almost like speaking to one of those cheap ivr bots you come across who just keep repeating the same thing in the same tone , the I room dining was surprisingly poor for a brand like Taj and the rates that are charged, Biriyani was at best below average, the mutton chops were served cold and hard and chewy
