Nice hotel but not all staff very friendly

Style and design of room.
Clean.
Nice afternoon light in rooms overlooking hospital.

Cons:

Restaurant in the evening was very quiet and therefore lacked atmosphere.
Lady at check in was very disbelieving that we had called the hotel directly to book a car park space which made me feel
awkward. Not a good start to our stay.
At checkout the receptionist said we owed money for dinner the previous night but we had already paid in full.
We then received a further call from the hotel later that day to say our account was unsettled.
Shows lack of organisation and communication between staff and annoying to clients.

They charged me twice even after showing them my payment receipt before my arrival. I requested them the next day to release my second payment but they didn’t released the payment yet. I contacted the receptionist, house manager (kelly bradley) via email still they didn’t responded yet. I sent my friend at the property to resolve the issue as I stay in India still they didn’t released my payment even after showing them all my transactions. Worst Customer Service.

Closeness to the city and university campus at the same time.

Cons:

The staff was not reacting to one of my requests even though saying they would take care. After informing them about the faulty drain in the shower they promised to send someone in 5 to 10 minutes, in the end nobody showed in more than an hour. I wasn't sure if they did anything when I was not there, but it did not seem like they had fixed it.

Pros:

Couldn’t fault everything to do with stay. The room was layed out nice

Cons:

Won’t say didn’t like but bed was bit soft and could have been wider but that defer me from staying here again and will let others know what a great hotel too
