It was not far from my venue. I don’t have a car so Voco was in the right location.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a party going on near my room until past midnight and I couldn’t sleep well. Also the pillows weren’t comfortable for me. Yes it was a tough night and I got up about 5:30 am

Repeat guests we love it
Pros:

Stayed several times before it’s a very pleasant hotel! Love the decor throughout, beds are comfy, really nice coffee, will always use Voco in Leicester

Cons:

Parking is expensive at £20 a night but they were fully booked so advised us to park in the hospital, which was £13.90 for 24 hours

For an event at the rugby stadium the location was absolutely perfect!

Cons:

To get to the bedrooms from reception/entrance its a lift or stairs to the first floor (where the bar/breakfast area is) then a separate set of lifts up to the bedroom floors

Fantastic, will stay again!
Pros:

How large and roomy the king suite was, I was travelling with my two nieces and was wonderful to spread out.

Cons:

Couldn’t get the air conditioning working properly so was very warm and stuffy in the room.

Very pleasant hotel on the outer centre of Leicester. Ideal for my visit.
Pros:

The breakfast was a step up from a regular Holiday Inn. Voco is an IHG brand. The room was absolutely lovely with a very comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom.

Cons:

There was a large healthcare conference in the hotel on the day I arrived. There were insufficient staff to cope with the higher than usual demand in the bar and restaurant area. I queued at the restaurant but got fed up and walked out to a local restaurant. But, I ate in the restaurant of the hotel the following night and the dish of the day was very tasty indeed.
